Website Details<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
This project is for a webpage with html coding that looks like a fancy, valuable gift certificate or savings bond with a really beautiful border that makes it feel like the recipient is getting something of high value.

No logo, no navigation links, only a beautiful, certificatey-looking border.
<o:p> </o:p>
Other than the fancy border, we don’t want anything inside so we can use it for special promotions, coupons and/or gifts to people on our different subscriber lists. We want it to look like a very valuable and special document.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
It would be great if the web template could lengthen to fit as needed depending on how much content will be placed in the page. If that’s not possible, I’d like a couple different lengths so we can use them as needed. The website template width should be about 900-950 px We would also like to have this border design as a high resolution design file to use as needed.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
The border can have embedded dollar signs that kind of blend into the border. Here are some links to fancy looking certificates and documents as examples, although we’d like the web template to have this kind of fancy border, it would be great to have it be more updated and not super old-fashioned (sorry for the super long links!)

<o:p></o:p>
3b) What colors or color schemes would you like? I would like the background to be white so I don’t have to worry about adding graphics/logos to the page. I’d like the fancy border to be either blue or gold (I don’t know if gold can be simulated on a computer screen?) Or a combination of blue and gold? I’m also open to your creativity!

4b) List the Navigation links for your Site:<o:p></o:p>
We’ll be using this template for different kinds of promotions and gift certificates so we’ll add navigation and links if/as needed. We just want a fancy looking certificate or savings bond type web page template to use as a gift certificate or coupon or free gift or special invitation for subscriber lists

Thanks in advance for your submissions! :D<o:p></o:p>

Hi Peedu,

Thank You for your submission!

I would like the background of the certificate to be all white so I don't have problems with adding logos/images.

I'm not wild about the yellow, it's too bright for me!

Thanks,
Maritza

Maritza, I am thinking you might get the best results if this project was placed in the Miscellaneous projects area where illustrators will also view the project. I am going to ask the other moderators what their thoughts are for you.

edit: I have posted a message to the designers for possible interested illustrators. :)

another one.

I can make this into HTML where it will adjust by itself according to the content length. The colors can be change as well depending on your taste.

Thank you.

Hi Rongen,

Thank you! #5 reminds me of a beautiful frame I'd have for a favorite picture, but not what I'm looking for.

#6 is getting closer, though I really need the interior of the certificate to be all white so I have no problem adding logos and images. I love the fact that this one is adjustable size!

After seeing the submissions, I think I would like it closer to the "old fashioned" type of certificates in the examples above (super-looong links)!

Thanks!!

Hi Rongen,

This is much closer though it still feels a little more like a fancy frame than a certificate! I'd love to see some subtle dollar signs (with no actual dollar amount) embedded somewhere in the design, maybe in the corners or the top and bottom (so it won't interfere with lengthening size adjustments) like on the old fashioned certificates to show that there is a monetary value.

Thank You!
Maritza

Here's with dollar sign. Thanks.

Hi Rongen,

Thanks! I'd like the dollar signs to be embedded into the actual frame like in the examples of the old fashioned certificates.

Maybe if instead of the darker color "curliques" in the corners, there were the dollar signs smaller than they are in #11 so they'd fit into the corners?

Thanks,
MAritza

Something like this?

Thanks.

Hi Rongen,

This is much better!

Is there anything else you can do to make it look more "certificate-y" and a little less "beautiful frame-y"?

Thanks!
Maritza

I've added some effects and changed the color. I think having some lines or color inside will make it more look like a certificate. Right now the edges is overpowering because of the empty center.

Looking forward to your comment. Thank you.

Hi Rongen,

Thanks! Can I see #15 without the blurring of the dollar signs? More clear like they are in # 13

Also, I'd like to see it with the green outerborder from # 15 and the inside lighter border from #13. Not sure if mixing the colors will work, but let's try!

Thanks,
MAritza

Hi Rongen,

Thanks! OK, I am liking this more and more! Can I have the design in the following color variations?
#13 all gold
#17 Rev 1 all green
#19 rev 3 green and gold

Will you give me the design and the html for it?

Thanks!
Maritza

Yes, I can give you the HTML as well as the PSD (photoshop layered file) in high resolution 300dpi.

Please declare on the post that you are choosing my designs , so the Moderator can put our thread to the revision forum.

I will finalize the design and do the HTML for you.

Thanks.

Rongen,

At what size have you designed this design in? How large will the client be able to print this design since it was designed in Photoshop, will she be able to resize it without it becoming pixelated?

Zoe,

Thank you for reminding me of the high resolution file for printing! :)

I will definitely need that and I'm choosing this design! Thanks Rongen!

Hi Zoe, Maritza,

Here's the resolution and size. I have a raw file in vector too, but since I added some flare on photoshop, It would be best to give hi-res PSD.

By the way, when I get this ready in HTML, the width of the frame will be 900pixels and the height will adjust according to the word content but the default will be 600px.

Let me know if that's alright.

Thanks.

Hi Rongen,

I did receive the html and the psd files, thank you!

Couple of things:

1. The images file for the gold certificate doesn't have any images in it though. Can you resend that file?

2. Also, on the certificates, there's two small slivers at the very bottom of the certificate that show up on the webpage and in the code, they say "spacer.gif in the code, so I thought it should be blank, but it's showing up as some of the border design. You can see at the bottom two corners here

http://www.thinkandgrowrichvideos.com/certificate.html

3. Also, since everything has exactly the same name, I'm going to have a big headache trying to rename and recode the images of the designs to get all three up on the same website and since I'm not that great at html, I'll probably mess up you're beautiful design!

Can you rename and recode them so they can be used on the same website or can you tell me if there's a way to get them all to show up without having to recode them?

Thanks,
MAritza
