Logo Design Assessment
To guide the designers in the right direction from the start, please complete the following questionnaire and copy and paste it in the first message of your logo project:

What text should be included in the main part of the logo? Artistic Soul Studios (which is the name of our business) The Center for the Performing Arts (In a smaller font than the name)
What type of product or service do you offer? Theatrical Training… Dance, Drama & Voice
How long have you been in business? Start up
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? We want to provide an artistic outlet for all ages and levels.
What are your long term goals? To be an extremely reputable performing arts school
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? Friday August 1st
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience… children of all ages and levels
Who would you like to add to your audience? Adults and professionals
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like? An “Artistic” and professional looking logo
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) The website template has a black background, so I would like reds, golds, and amber colors… strong colors

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Yes I have a drawing of a dancer that has to be the main focus… I would like for it to look like her spirit is rising all around her, almost smoky or fiery. Please note: I’ve enclosed a PSD file of that drawing… HOWEVER, I’d like to see if you can maybe draw it or tweak it to make it look better.

What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? I want it to look artistic and professional
What is your tagline or slogan? Name: Artistic Soul Studios Tagline: The Center for the Performing Arts
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience? That we are a professional theatrical school.
Where will your new logo be used? Websites, mailouts, t-shirts, etc.

Remember, I’ve enclosed a drawing file to show you what I really like as a BASE design… however feel free to work with and/or around that drawing for your concept. If you have ideas… I’d like to see them too.
