HI!
My name is Christie and I am so excited to take the plunge and get a professional logo. I made mine myself last year and it's time for a change!!

Here is my website where you can see my work
http://christieadamsphotography.com/

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?

Christie Adams Photography (I tend to always prefer all lowercase for my first and last name)

What type of product or service do you offer?

on-location lifestyle photography- maternity, newborn, babies and children. I LOVE natural light and shooting outdoors-whether it's in manhattan or in the country or a little park or on the beach.

How long have you been in business?
1 year

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?

I'd like a unified brand identity (one that will tie into my splash page, site and blog)

What are your long term goals?

have a brand that distinguishes me and my work

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
8/3

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience

my existing audience is middle to upper class families who are in their late 20's - late 30's

Who would you like to add to your audience?

more of the same- youngish couples who are either in nyc or the suburbs and just starting their families.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
contemporary, elegant and clean.

I love all lowercase letters for my name (the word photography can be upper case).

I like stripes and dots and don't want anything too swirly or scrapbooky.

I think my work is sweet, innocent, real, refreshing, mellow.

My style in my own life is very cottage/shabby- I have lots of vintage white furniture, flowy white curtains, light colors, coastal/beachy, light and airy,

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

I LOVE chocolate brown, pink, white, blue and green. I strongly dislike oranges, reds and yellows.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
No

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

That I provide a fun and custom experience for families- they aren't going to a chain photo studio

What is your tagline or slogan?

don't have one

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

that I will provide them with images and memories to cherish and it is a worthwhile investment

Where will your new logo be used?

website, blog, marketing materials, etc.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?

I live outside of NYC in northern nj so there are many awesome photographers in this area but plenty of work to go around

What sets you apart from your competitors?

I think I really interact well with my clients- they feel very comfortable and relaxed with me and I love children so I tend to connect right away with them and we have a really fun time during our session.

here are some logos/styles I love

Thanks Kekepania!! I think the first one is too busy for me- I'd like something cleaner/simpler. But I do like those colors together.

the second...I think there are a lot of logos out there with flowers so I'm not really feeling that one although again I do like these colors.

I look forward to seeing more ideas!

Hi!! Thanks again for the ideas.

For version 3 I still think there is too much going on between the frames and stripes and I don't love the cream background on that one or the next one. maybe a different color and font would work better?

version 4 isn't my style at all...and I don't like the font my name is in

I like the dots in #5 but not the initial or boldness in my last name.

In terms of fonts, the ones used in version 2 are my favorite of these choices and I think style wise I prefer #2 of all the choices so far as well but am not sold on a flower. Maybe another flourish or icon? Last night I added some home decor pics of my house and other things I love to my very first post...maybe there is inspiration there? the moravian star or something? And the brown/pink combo seen in that pear is exactly the color combo I love!

Hope that helps!!

Thank you Offbeat!!

I am not feeling the initials in version one

I really like version 2 a lot- I am not certain I want to go with a bird but it's really cute and I'd like to explore that as a possibility with variations of the style and placement of the bird and font selection.

I also really like version 3- again maybe some other variations of the shape and placement of the star and font and color combos. I love the pink and brown but is the pink maybe too light to show up? not sure.

The other star versions I am not feeling.

I just want to stress that I am NOT married to either star or bird and totally open to see any other concepts of other ideas- don't even need there to be an icon of any sort either...I think it will help me to see a few more options before narrowing in on any one concept to finalize.

thank you so much for those who have submitted ideas so far- can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!!

Thanks so much!!

For the bird-but like the font you used in version 6. how would just an outline of a bird look? or something muted so it isn't so bold? or with a design inside it? and I liked how you played around with putting the bird on something different! how about a more playful, whimsical or vintage style of bird?

For the star....I think I just don't like the shape/style of that star for a logo. I'd like to see it drawn in a different way- maybe it's too perfect almost like an astronomy symbol right now. Of all the star versions I like version 7 but would like the word photography to be in another font (I really like the script you used for my first and last name!)

I wanted to attach a couple other ideas since I am still not 100% sold I want to go the bird or star route.

what about something like a design- doesn;t have to be damask- with my name over it?

maybe something similar to the blue pattern of the hooks in this picture

I keep looking at version 6- I think the reason I didn't like 3 colors is the blue in adams....I think 3 colors will work fine but maybe christie adams can all be in one color rather then the 2? I love blue/pink and brown together but I think my first and last name should be the same color in that design.

One of my photo friends suggested maybe making the bird more vintage like the sample blue one has the texture to it? just an idea

I sooo appreciate all the work you've done already!!!

Here it is with the texture. Keep in mind that at small sizes the texture tends to close up (since the detail gets lost). If a distressed design is selected it could be provided with and without the texture if you wanted.

I really like version 9- I think the distressed versions are too distressed. could it be toned down?
could I see a version of the bird that is just an outline and not filled in? or a version that just a little more playful, whimsical?

Just bumping to see if I can get some more concepts! I had three ideas in my post #20 that I'd like to see as well as any new ones any of you may have!!

Since I haven't gotten a lot of different responses I also need to extend my deadline and just sent an email to the mods. The new deadline will be on Friday the 8th and I am increasing the fee to $175.

Thanks!

Hi:)here is your damask suggestion(It has a subtle suggestion of hearts).....:).......

christieadams
08-02-2008, 09:42 AM
Thanks so much for jumping in!!! yeah!

I think the damask is a bit too big and overpowering for me...whatever design is under my name I was sort of envisioning something muted and smaller.

I love those colors together....not really loving the font.

It totally doesn't have to be a damask...that was just what I had handy on my computer. I was just looking to see some sort of faded and light design with my name over it.

and totally feel free to come up with something completely different too- you guys are the professionals!

thanks!!

christieadams
08-02-2008, 11:00 AM
thanks! that was so fast :) This feedback is in reference to the damask- not the new cottage/chic design!
I do like the size and shade/mutedness if that is a word
I just don't know that it's unique enough since there are many other photographers with the damask type of design incorporated in their branding.

Looking at all the ideas so far I realize that I love the idea of having a stand-alone icon - whether it's this muted design behind my name or a bird or star or something else....I'd like to have something that I can use in my branding as a watermark, stamp etc. that distinguishes me.

thanks again!! I'm so excited!

oh I don't see anything :(

I was posting my feedback as you were posting this!
I like this a lot and it's definitely unique!
cool....I'm still not loving this font but I do like this design sooo much more then the damask.
how would it look with my name over the design? or in a different position?

08-02-2008, 01:56 PM
cool!! I really like version 4 a lot! And I like the font better in version 4 as well (although I'm not totally in love with the particular font or color combo).

I like the icon above my name (just with a new font then version 3) or on the left. Although it might be too overpowering the size it is now. I think with this particular icon it's a little hard to read with it over my name.

I'd love to explore other variations of this icon you created. I like this style a lot! I really like the circle thing going on. What if there were a couple mini versions of an icon of different colors above my name? I love the pink/chocolate brown/ and then blue or green combo.

tini I'd love to see your interpretation of the whimsical bird (like an outline rather then filled in) or fun hand-drawn star concept- I am just loving your style!

thanks so much!!

tini1
08-03-2008, 08:36 AM
a bird:)

christieadams
08-03-2008, 02:13 PM
thank you tini!!!

I definitely like the colors in version 6 and how each circle has a different design inside!! I like the jagged edges of the shapes and I like the size of the 3 circles but not so much the arrangement of them. I think I was picturing them more in a row. I have been getting opinions from photographer friends and the consensus seems to be that the icon has a bit too much going on...could it be simplified a little bit? People have said it looks like something you might find in a science book and with the 3 little ones it looks too much like cells. I like that it combines my love of things vintage/shabby but also is modern-I love how unique it is and I think it has the potential to work for me with a little tweaking. It doesn't have to be the 3 minis either, it could be just the 1 circle design like version 3 (just not so big).

For the bird- love the style!! If I go the bird route then I see it as this style of bird with the little branch. Thank you for giving me your take on this concept!!

I would really love to see what you could do with the star idea...sorry I keep coming back to that one as I just have this idea in my head of a playful hand-drawn star...I think you totally get me with the whole cottage/shabby look I love so I'd really love to see what you think could work with a star as the icon. Maybe with a script font for christie adams?

Thank you so much for all your hard work. I promise to make a decision soon! I am 38 weeks pregnant so I definitely want to wrap this up in the next couple of days :)

I love things that are hand-drawn and artsy :)

I absolutely LOVE all the handrawn stuff on this site so maybe there is inspiration there to get a good feel of what appeals to me?

I especially love the style of the flower on her splash page.

and the type of flower on these shower hooks
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3197/2718241872_f00f8ce736_o.jpg

I prefer the font in version 2 because it looks more sophisticated- I think photography looks good but not loving the font my name is in.

I'm not sure about the scrolls though since so many logos have scrolls right now. Maybe instead of a flower could I see this style in a different shape?

thanks again!!

christieadams
08-04-2008, 01:05 PM
Thanks Tini for working on the star for me!!

If I go with the star as my icon I think I will like it best with my first and last name in script. I love the font combo you used in this logo:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3125/2733212002_a82fc733b9_o.jpg

I really want to love the star and I can't quite put my finger on what it is that is stopping me. Could the star be less dimensional? It doesn't have to be a moravian star either...I'm not sure that particular star shape translates well as a logo even though I love it hanging in my house as a lantern.

I have thought about it and eliminated the bird concept. I want something that says: fun and artsy but also sophisticated and high-end.

So I'd like to narrow things down to having an icon- whether it's a star, a simplified version of tini's shabby "kiwi" or a funky flower along the lines of this logo:

http://www.paperandinkstudio.com/

I'd like to stick with chocolate brown as a MUST-HAVE color with either pink, green and/or blue as the other colors.

I went back on anthropologie to find a couple more things I like...I guess I am drawn to circles :)

V3 Flower similar to the ones in the pic you posted

christieadams
08-04-2008, 02:57 PM
thanks tini!! I am loving the kiwi in pink and smaller! I think with the "kiwi" the sans serif font works better since it's more of a modern look. I think the script font for my first/last name would be awesome with the star though if I could see it paired up with a less dimensional star.

For the kiwi- is it possible to simplify the inside a little bit? I just think there is a little too much inside...feel free to play with however you think it would look best, even if you would like to incorporate another color inside it or something? I think it has so much potential for me. I'm looking at it again..maybe skinnier lines on the inside with tinier balls? and the center circle could be simplified to just one little circle?

thank you again!!!! I really appreciate you sticking with me!

christieadams
08-04-2008, 03:01 PM
Jennifer- thank you so much!
wow-I LOVE this flower! I'd love to see it with a different font combo though if that's possible. Can the inside of the flower be pink? I am not crazy about how the dot on the inside of the flower looks but love everything else about it. Maybe my first/last name could be a different color then the flower?

Thanks!!!

BlueCherryGraphics
08-04-2008, 03:06 PM
Sure...a handwritten font or a more classic one?

christieadams
08-04-2008, 03:37 PM
hmmm I think photography should definitely be a classic font- not script. My first/last name I could go either way as long as it's lower case. If you have a couple combos that would be sooo awesome. I just know I don't like the style font that my first/last name are in right now at all. In this thread I loved the style of script that offbeat used in his version 7 but I like when things are mixed- like the first/last name in script and photography in a serif or sans serif.

Also a friend just pointed out that the flower is probably too similar to the paperandinkstudio logo so I want to make sure I am not copying anyone else's work. I'm not sure what to suggest to make it more unique so feel free to use your artistic vision.

thank you so much!!!

BlueCherryGraphics
08-04-2008, 03:40 PM
No, it's definitely not too similar in terms of it infringing on their logo, but if you want something different, I can work on that. Will post a revision soon.

That was fast!! thank you!

by far I much much prefer the original flower to these latest ones. maybe something just as simple as separating the petals and adding a pink dot to the original flower is all it needs to differentiate from the paperink logo. I don't think it needs anything drastic done by any means!!!

I also much much prefer the original colors you used as well. The purple is not me at all. I'd love the color combo to be chocolate brown, pale pink and blue (like the blue you used in the original flower).

I would like christie adams to all be the same font. then the word photography can be in a different font. so maybe could I see a version where christie adams is in a script font and then a second version where christie adams is in a non-script font?

Thanks so much!!!!

of all the fonts I like the ones in these latest versions better then the ones used in your original flower post.

Thanks so much Tini!!!

Now that I compare the "kiwi" to the star I want to stick with the kiwi. I have given this a lot of thought and narrowed my choices down to either the kiwi or the blue flower concept. I think with one more round I'll be able to make my decision.

For the "kiwi" can we switch the font to sans serif rather then the script?

I put version 6 and 7 right next to each other on my screen and prefer the smaller kiwi size in version 6.

for the inside I love the new center!! thanks for simplifying that! It's perfect. Can I see it with fewer (about half as many) "spokes" and with tinier balls at the end?

thank you again!!!!

Thank you Jennifer!!!
I really love version 7's distressed look!!
If I went this route though I'd just worry about the b/w or in certain circumstances of printing/embossing so would there be a non-distressed version as well? I love the way you separated the petals in this version 7 as opposed to version 6. If it would be possible to get a distressed and non-distressed version would you be able to separate the petals like you did in version 7 and can the center dot be a circle?

For the fonts I just did some playing with the fonts that I have to show you what kind of style I love. Would it be possible to see something like this with the distressed flower version if you don't mind? I like having christie adams in pink or brown rather then blue since the flower is blue.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3290/2736404820_3bbf764d47_o.jpg

I think I prefer having the flower to the left of my name.

One last question...If I decide on the flower will I be able to have that as a stand-alone to use for branding ( sticker/watermark/icon on my blog etc.) separate from my name?

thank you soo much for all your hard work!!!

Again I promise I am ready to pick a concept tonight- as I said I am almost 39 weeks pregnant so I definitely need to just wrap this up :)

Yes, you can have the distressed & non-distressed as well as the standalone icon if you select this design.

Thanks!

and less spikes....

This kiwi (version 11) is absolutely perfect!! thank you!!!
I wanted to ask the same question I asked about the flower- would I be able to have the "kiwi" as a stand-alone file as well as the complete logo? so I could also use it for branding on its own...or if I wanted to put it to the left of my name instead of above if I needed it to fit a certain way on a business card or post card etc.? Will the files I would get allow me to change fonts or colors?

sorry for all the questions...I just wasn't sure how it worked!

and as soon as I see the final blue flower I will make my decision..gosh this is soooooo hard!!

:) yes, you will receive a stand alone KIWI...the files also include a eps, and psd, which you can change colors/replace font:)

Hi,

OK, I chose this font b/c I think it's the kind of classic and elegant script you showed in your examples, but with a unique flair (it's a variation on Bickley). I prefer the name in script and the "PHOTOGRAPHY" in a clean sans serif, but I can change it if you want if you select this design.

On the flower, I took off the added distressing, but the leaves are vintage/worn around the edges; I can make those totally smooth if you want, but I wasn't sure if that's what you had in mind, or if you just wanted the added effect from the last version removed.

Thank you both sooo much! i truly love both and this is such a hard decision.

I love how the flower is vintage and am in love with the slightly distressed look, love the blue/pink/brown colors and how it is shabby/chic and artsy.

I love the "kiwi" because it is modern, clean and soooooo unique and nobody else has or will have it.

I feel like I am artsy AND modern at the same time so I am having the hardest time picking.

I will think/obsess about it all day today!

christieadams

ok- I have been going back and forth for awhile and finally decided to select the "kiwi".

Jennifer thank you sooo much for your hard work- I truly love the flower and it's so ME but I made up a sample blog and splash page with both logos and the kiwi one just felt right to me with my work beside it.

So Tini- I choose you as my designer and just have a couple font/color tweaking to ask of you which I promise won't take long. Not sure what the next step is to bring the post over to revisions though so let me know what I need to do.

Thank you so very much for sticking with me and for your patience!

Great!! Thank you!!

Here were my thoughts regarding the color and font- hope they make sense:

First- this is easy :) I think the kiwi is best on the left of my name- It will be too hard for me to make it fit on my blog and website if it is above my name.

I am still not in love with the fonts as they are and I found a few logos to show you the style I'm thinking of for my logo that I list a little further down. I know I want christie adams in all lowercase, photography I think I want all lowercase as well but it doesn't have to be.

Can I see a version where the text is all in a non-script font and then a second version with either my name OR the word photography be in script?

I like your font in version 11 (but would like it to be smaller) and would like photography to line up to take up the same amount of space as christie adams like you did in version 13.

I like the style of bickham script and snellroundhead as scripts

I love the font style of this logo
tarawhitney.com

another script style font I like
desireehayesphotography.com

and absoultely love the style of the font combo of this logo
jenniferwilsonphoto.com
love the blue and green used here!!

As far as colors go- now that I see the kiwi in a bigger picture I think it is too light of a shade of green to stand out and think it would look great with a green more similar to one like is used in the above logo.

I want to stick with chocolate brown, blue, green and/or pink as the color options

could I see a version with the kiwi in another color? maybe pink/brown and then the text be blue/green?

also the brown you've been using 1 I think has too much red in it- can it match the brown I am using on my mock up splash page?

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3069/2738731569_b39fbbaf1d_o.jpg

ok- that's it!!
are you ready to jump off a bridge yet?

Christie, Here are the first revisions, first the fonts(once you've decided on this, we'll move on to colors....):)

Thanks!
Before I forget, I definitely prefer the kiwi with the fewer spokes (the one I used in my mock-up splash page).

For the fonts...I don't know...I actually like my walkway rounded sample on my mock up splash page the best even though even that isn't quite right.

Could I see one reversed where christie adams is in a sans serif and then photography in script- with the same placement as the
jenniferwilsonphotography.com logo?

You totally don't have to stick with the snell roundhead/bickham...those were just the 2 fonts I had in photoshop. I much prefer the fonts in the links I gave yesterday.

can there be a little more space between my first name and my last name? with them being the same color I think it's a little hard to read with the two words running into each other

the sans serif font...can I see a different one with a little more weight...nothing bold but just not quite as thin as the current font.

In case I didn't describe that well...again these are just what I have on photoshop, nothing fancy!

I went through some of your old posts to find some examples of fonts you used that I really liked so maybe that will make it easier? thanks so much :)))

that would be great! (of these two I prefer version A)
when you post tomorrow can you switch out the green of the current kiwi to be closer to the green I just posted above in my color palette picture? I am having a hard time visualizing the logos you just posted because I don't like that shade of green.

thank you!!! can;t wait to see what you come up with!!

08-09-2008, 08:30 AM
ooh this helps SOOO much to see it with the colors!! thanks! looks awesome! I'm so excited that we are almost there!

My favorites are A and B in terms of the font and placement of the words

For version B can I see photography written in the script font you used in your tailored tadpoles logo? and christie adams written in your Hypatia font (with adams not bolded)?

Can I see one with the word photography written in the gypsie isle script? and maybe have christie adams written in the sans serif font you used in the blue/green lisa hermes logo?

and could I see one version that is broken up in 3 lines like the bottom lisa hermes logo?

thanks so much!!!

Hi!!

Thank you!!

I probably was confusing in my last request...I really like the font in version A but don't like the word adams in bold. could you unbold that so I can see a revised version A? And could I see an alternate version of that one with the word photography in the script you used in version B? I love version B but just not sure about the font you used for christie adams.

Version C- I love how the word photography looks in this version!!! I was hoping to have that gypsie isle script be used in the word photography rather then christie adams. sorry if that wasn't clear in my last post!! In addition since I love how photography looks in your current version could I just see this same version with christie adams written in the script from version B?

Love version D!! I just think the word christie is hard to see/read....maybe if it were in pink or brown it would stand out better- I can't tell if it's the color or the font that is making it hard to see? I love this look a lot and think with the right color/font could be the one.

oh man.....I hope that wasn't too confusing!!
thank you again!! It's so cool seeing this come together.

and this is random but after we have a final version would I be able to have the stand-alone kiwi in all 3 colors you show here? I was thinking of different branding idea stuff and my website galleries and thought I could incorporate the stand-alone icon in a bunch of cool ways to separate different categories etc.

tini1
08-10-2008, 05:38 PM
:)I'll have the above variations tomorrow morning for you:)

christieadams
08-10-2008, 05:46 PM
yeah- can't wait!! I've been having a lot of contractions this weekend hoping the baby will wait until I finalize my logo before coming out :)

also to make it easier when you do the changes I'd like my final logo to use the green rather then blue or pink kiwi and for the text to be blue and brown. Do you think having the 3 color kiwis as stand-alone icons is a possibility? I'd love to incorporate the pink and blue on my blog and site in the different sections/categories.

Can we use the green from the camera logo that I posted above in post #80..I love the green the kiwi is now but it's just a tiny bit too light to stand out on my splash page with the shade it is now and that green from the camera logo I think is the perfect shade.

thank you!!!!

Thanks Tini!
I'm sorry...for the next time you post can I see the text in blue and brown? It is hard for me to visualize the final logo with the wrong color text. thanks!

Did you get a chance to play with version D? I really loved that one but the word christie was too hard to read.

I tried to play with it a little and I think it has potential...I just couldn't change the word photography to blue.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3033/2752075988_1a75d5c64a_o.jpg

I LOVE LOVE how photography looks in version C but was just asking if you could change the script of christie adams like I tried to do above.

For these new versions I defintiley don't like that font in F (photography) so we can scrap that font...it doesn't work for my name or the word photography.

I know that if I can just see a couple more font combos we'll be all set. What about the sans serif font in the blue/green logo you did in the lisa hermes logo I posted in #80? And the sans serif in courtney leigh's green/red logo you made that is also in that same post?

thank you!!

sorry I am driving you crazy!

the script font you used in K and H was the one I was referring to when I said I don't like the font. The script font I DO like is the one you used in version B.

For version L I was asking for photography to be in blue rather then adams.

For version I....I wanted to see the other courtney leigh font- the one you used here as well as the lisa hermes sans serif you used in the blue/green lisa hermes logo. Hope this makes sense now!

:)here are h,i,j,k.l...revised...

christieadams
08-12-2008, 06:49 AM
Thank you! that would be great if you could find something similar to that courtney leigh font! The other font looks so different to me when it's large I couldn't tell it was the same.

My favorites are still from your Version1Final 4 in Post #83- I really LOVE the sans serif fonts you used for PHOTOGRAPHY in version A, C and D (it looks like they are 3 different fonts since the descender of the letter R is different). since I know I love those 3 sans serif fonts can I see a couple versions using those fonts for christie adams as well? I don't think any of these scripts are working out for me.

For versions K & L I wanted the word photography in blue so that the word adams doesn't stand out too much. I tried to do that version using what fonts I had (see below) I didn't know what font you used for adams photography though and would love to see it where christie adams is in brown and photography is in blue). I really love this font windsong that I used in these versions but need help with the kerning. Do you have Windsong to play with for me?

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3241/2756846735_94be1c5044_o.jpg

for my version of 1 I used your photography from your version C and then bickham script for my name and I like it...but I'd love to see the colors reversed. could you make christie adams blue and photography in brown?

again I am so sorry and I hope this wasn't too confusing again!!

Hi Christie, I can't see your attachment ??? could you repost...thanks:)

christieadams
08-12-2008, 01:07 PM
no problem!!

tini1
08-12-2008, 01:12 PM
these are my fonts I used in post #83....
I only used two different ones(A & D are the same san serif font) :)

christieadams
08-12-2008, 02:37 PM
that helps a lot to see the font used for my name! thanks! I think it's a little too plain for me with everything in those fonts.

So after looking at all of them I have narrowed it down then to the 2 layouts I was working on in my post above- either the windsong script I used in my #3 matched up with one of your sans serif fonts for photography (can I see it with both so I can decide)?

or

the "3 stack" layout. Can you do a couple versions for me of that layout? My favorite is #5- I was trying to get them all to line up in the stack. Again I didn't know what font you used for photography though so I couldn't play around with the color of that word.

I think once I see these 4 variations I'll have a decision!

thanks!!
Christie

tini1

3 stack layout....:)

tini1
08-13-2008, 07:35 AM
I adjusted the kerning in the windsong font(for a script its better to not pull, stretch the space between letters to fit a space using tracking, like I've done with the san serif fonts in photography, san serif holds up better to tracking imo)

christieadams
08-13-2008, 08:55 AM
YEAH!! Love what you did with the kerning- perfect!! thank you sooo much!!

I am determined to decide today....I love these!! 8B and 9A are my top 2 favorites.

I love that blue but am afraid it is just a tiny bit too light to read especially when used on the script. If I can see these versions with a slightly darker blue I will be able to make my decision- can you use the blue you used in the camera of this logo? I think it should be dark enough to read better and since the kiwi is the color of the inside of the camera it should match nicely, right? (edited to add- the blue isn't nearly as light on my husband's computer vs my laptop. and the camera color blue looks more teal then on my laptop. so maybe just a shade darker then the current blue would be enough to help make the script easier to read? sometimes I hate my laptop!!!)

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3062/2744124453_de9d4a3287_o.jpg

and just one more tiny thing and that's it- for 8a and 8b can I see an 8c where christie adams is in brown and photography is in blue? and 8d where christie is in a sans serif rather then script?

and that is it!!

thanks so much!

YEAH!! THank you! LOVE 10A and B- what is the new pantone blue color? It's perfect!! Will all the pantone colors be in the files you send to me so I can match the colors for my stuff?

in my last post I was actually referring to the 3 stack layout (10b) when I was asking to see just one more version where christie adams is in brown and photography is in blue

for 10B can we just move the text lower just a tiny tiny bit so photography lines up to the bottom of the kiwi...or if you have another solution so that the letter H isn't sooo much higher then the kiwi?

ok that's it!! I'm so excited about my new logo!!

tini1
