Designs Please for New Compaq / HP Site $175

Hello All,

This is my second design, my first was Toshiba Website (http://www.toshibalaptop.net.au)

Now I am after my Compaq / HP site to be redone. Compaq Site (http://www.compaqlaptop.com.au)

As you can see the site is very poor.

Ok what I want.....

This site sells all Compaq and HP laptop products and accessories.

An index page with a heading "Compaq" + "HP" you can use the logos for this if you wish.

Products on the index page: Presario, EVO, Cnc 4000, Ipaq, Ipaq accessories, NX Series, Tablet, HP, Memory + accessories, Spare Parts.
These are the categories that customers can choose to move into the product range.

The links are: Home, orders, contact, warranty, Leasing, delivery. The index pages needs to include a link to messenger and to my Toshiba site and also my Used laptop site. A search box aswell.

A have give a ways and promos so somewhere to list these would be great.

The page fast loading, the whole site has to be search engine friendly.

The page has to span the whole screen in any browser.

So I want to display as much information on the index page as possible and I want a professoinal looking site as used by Compaq HP themselfs. The winner will also design a products page.

To be honest guys dont worry about putting the logos and images from my Toshiba site as I wanted a new look.

This entry is to much like my Toshiba site which I could have done myself.

I've done a layout for CompaqLaptop, but later found out that I did not follow some of your guidelines stated in your original post. I used your existing site as a guide. Anyway, I would make all the changes if you let me know whether you like the direction I'm heading into. Furthermore, I've used some images from present CompaqLaptop.com.au as you can see below. Am I permitted to do so?

Dont get me wrong markbeaudry I like your design I was just talking about the logos I used on my site, I do like your design. I will get back to you with some adjustments soon as to the rest of the entries aswell.

Ok the way I will do this is, 1 at a time in order of entry. Mark can you place an image in the design to replace where the MSN messenger is. Move the messenger and intro text under the products.

the weekly deal can you make smaller and I would like around four to five of them as customers usely buy whats on the index page. On the HP side of the heading I would like a drop down box with all the products I sell.

I like what I see and I will get some feed back on the rest of the entries today.

Mark I still have a few little changes, but this looks great.
