I wish to create a new logo for my company: Funding Your Dreams.

NEW INFORMATION:
I want to turn your creative juices loose on this. I think I was getting in your way with my own
ideas.

Love some of what you've done but nothing is calling to me. Mostly, I think, because of the
colors I requested and the emblems I chose.

I need the logo to speak security, international, possibility, dreams, money, rich, expert...
Colors of your choosing.

Web sites to look at for my competition and feel:
http://suzeorman.com
http://chellie.com
http://liveoutloud.com

I am not graphically inclined and forgot that in the beginning. I've upped the ante for my
logo and hope you can all find it in your hearts to forgive me and give my logo another shot.

With thanks for the work you've already done,
Carol

Colors will be teal (028482) and gold (FFCC33)

I would like an iconic image to go with the name of my company.

Image can be<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 11"><meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 11"><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w:DontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><style> <!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:Wingdings; panose-1:5 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0; mso-font-charset:2; mso-generic-font-family:auto; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:0 268435456 0 0 -2147483648 0;} @font-face {font-family:Tahoma; panose-1:2 11 6 4 3 5 4 4 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:swiss; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:1627421319 -2147483648 8 0 66047 0;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Arial; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-family:Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight:bold;} span.EmailStyle15 {mso-style-type:personal; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-ansi-font-size:10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Arial; mso-ascii-font-family:Arial; mso-hansi-font-family:Arial; mso-bidi-font-family:Arial; color:windowtext;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} /* List Definitions */ @list l0 {mso-list-id:756750906; mso-list-type:hybrid; mso-list-template-ids:-2054371684 67698703 -194751456 -194751456 67698703 67698713 67698715 67698703 67698713 67698715;} @list l0:level1 {mso-level-tab-stop:.25in; mso-level-number-position:left; margin-left:.25in; text-indent:-.25in;} @list l0:level2 {mso-level-number-format:bullet; mso-level-text:; mso-level-tab-stop:.75in; mso-level-number-position:left; margin-left:.75in; text-indent:-.25in; font-family:Wingdings; color:#B20000;} @list l0:level3 {mso-level-number-format:bullet; mso-level-text:; mso-level-tab-stop:99.0pt; mso-level-number-position:left; margin-left:99.0pt; text-indent:-.25in; font-family:Wingdings; color:#B20000;} ol {margin-bottom:0in;} ul {margin-bottom:0in;} --> </style><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]--> <!--[if !supportLists]-->Torch – lighting your dreams, sun image or sunrise indicating new day, globe shape indicating world wide humanity<o:p></o:p>

DraganB -

Like this concept very much. Would like to see some modifications:
Would like a little more pizzazz in the image.
Can you bring the feel of global into it more.
Also would like to see a little shading in the colors.

Like the block lettering also the YOUR standing out in gold.

LutFi -

Feels like flame is leaning giving logo an off balance feel for me.

Like the overall look with the globe and the sun. Also like the color shading.

don't like the two colors of "your dreams.

Can you make some modifications to size, shape, position of globe and sun?

To all designers - We are pleased with all the creativity and impressed - why we come to the experts.

The two color logos are all flat to us and need some life breathed into them.

Torch is great but also want to be sure to bring global concept into the mix.

:),

So, Tyler, if you didn't use the torch, what would you use (as a creative genius) to say wealth, freedom, authority....

And if you could choose any colors besides the ones I chose, what would they be?

Just not liking the torch thing. It's not speaking to the dream. Too olympian, I think. What else can we do??

And here is another idea, an "impressionable" pedestal. Whatever your dreams may be... we'll back you. ;)
Also, a more regal color scheme. Are you opposed to black in your logo?

Tyler

:) Here is another variation on the "starry night" aspect of dreams in a crest-like format to keep it formal/serious.

Tyler - looks good. I'll get Carol over here today to look. I like V3.4-A icon with V3.4-B Words. But I'm not the customer. I'll give you more when I hear from Carol.

Okay. We're ready for a little experimentation:

All involved like 3.2 and 3.4

Minor changes:
No fading in the letters. Want solid and bold.

On 3.2 substitute green for red
on 3.4 substitute green for gold

We'd like to be able to compare the looks - I assume you just add a new version to the thread and the others aren't deleted?

Would like to make a choice soon so we (and you) can move on and you can be paid!

Okay, Tyler. We're down to 3.6.
For A, please make the flame gold
For C, make funding green

As soon as you're done, we'll be making our choice so we'l
be able to get you paid today!!!

Good choice! For the record, I was rooting for that one. :) It has a much better contrast effect with the colors.
