I have word document that is around 42 pages in length it has about 20 images in it.
It generally needs a little bit of tender loving care and to be laid out in a presentable format so that it looks professional.
see some correspondence I have had with a designer already.

Are you hoping to have the word document tidied up in MS Word so that you are able to edit it or would you like it to be professionally done in a publishing program such as Adobe Indesign and then exported to PDF?
We will probably need to edit it slightly in the future before it is ready as there may be some slight typos or wording changes, however I would like it to be done so that we can have it in a PDF, is it easy to edit in adobe indesign I could get a copy if necessary or i ahve someone who cna do basic stuff but they are not creative and reliable enough for the complete project
Yes Adobe Indesign is reasonably easy to use except you use text blocks rather than the text being able to fluently follow to the next page. So if you were to add a large amount of text into the middle of the book for example, you may have trouble trying to fit it in. However, the benefits are that you have more control over the design unlike in Word that can move items around where you don’t want them and doesn’t quite have the same capabilities as a design program.
Do you have any examples of layout that you would like to follow?
not really I've looked at a lot of other fitness ebooks and they are OK but not great, maybe we could have a side bar when a vidoe is mentioned, the images of the products are too big and cluncky on the page so that needs looking at
Will you be offering the PDF for sale online? Will you also require an online e-book cover image for your website?
yes it will be for sale, we may also do a trimmed down version as a lead generation giveaway, ebook cover image could be good please put price in for that
