text is optional in the logo

Health care provider offering both hands on healing and life style counseling for children and families with ADD. I have a Chiropractic Degree and have practiced as a chiropractor for over 25 years. The work would include deep muscle therapy, craniosacral therapy, exercise rehab, nutritional counseling, music therapy, and mind body integration.

I have been practicing as a chiroprator since 1980 and as a massage therapist since 1974.

I would like to work with children with ADD and their families using both hands on healing and life style counseling skills. I would also like to be lecturing at schools and organizations working with children and their families with ADD.

My long term goals would be to have both a healing practice as well as running groups for kids with ADD, groups for parents of kids with ADD, and educator working with kids with ADD.

This is a new business--there is no existing audience.

The logo would be something safe, warm, inviting and calming - geared towards adults but kid friendly.

The colors I would recommend would be soothing calming colors--greens, blues, and maybe a splash of brown for grounding

Icons or images would include the idea of integration. Maybe it would be coming from scattered to wholeness but defintely it would be integration as the end product.

logo may be something like a knot that twists around (rounded edges as opposed to squares puzzled pieces) loosely bound up in a loving kind of cohesive entity. There would have to be space in the knot so it gives the feeling of freedom and spaciousness and not tight or bound.

"ADD can be a plus" is a play on words. ADD (Attention deficey disorder) also means ADD as in math and also plus as in math. And having ADD is a plus--as in, it is a good thing, rather than a horrible thing that these kids have to deal with.

The overall message is about supporting these kids and their families from an alternative method to the traditional medical model of drugs and behavior management.

The logo will be used on all my correspondence, business card, pamphlets, advertising, etc.

This is a new business and I dont yet know what other people are doing from an alternatvie perspective. I do know that most of the treatment for ADD is with drugs and not with the types of healing that I will be offering.

What sets me apart from others is that I have been a healing practitioner for over 30 years . I am offering an alternative to traditional types of treatment being used, and I have suffered from ADD (which I found out about 3 years ago)

phrase that describes the company--new ways of treating ADD without drugs

Thank you!

HI ,
Thank you so much for these designs. I am resonating mostly with Tyler #3. This is the closest to the direction of what I would like. It is whimsical and off centered and has the movement I like. It is both kid friendly and parent friendly both.
I would appreciate a revision from you on this theme. At first I thought I wanted soothing colors but now I would like to see some brighter colors, different sizing on the letters and words, and staying with the playful theme. Thank you so much. Nicky Silver

Hi Nicky, I've done some more detail work on this one. Let me know if you're thinking other colors or fonts. :D

thanks Tyler. Getting there but not quite it yet. I like the figure in number 3 better than number 9, without the knot and more looking like the figure of a body without the smiley face.

I like the font in number 9, emphasizing the ADD and PLUS and the irregularity of the positioning of the words--the kind of chaotic vibe of it. that is good. I also like the vibrancy of the colors better in number 9. I would like to see the 5 parts of the drawing of the figure have 5 different colors (that is, the leg and the head are the same color, and I would like to see all 5 of them-each leg and each arm and the head all have a different color). thanks again Nicky Silver

Alright, back to the original it is. Here is a color revision with the newest text layout.

And here is another attempt to incorporate your idea of integration at the core.

Thanks Tyler. I would like to continue working with you and not be working with the other designers.
Number 9 is looking good but I would like to see it without the knot and see everything else the same. Let;s see how that is. thanks Nicky

Hi Tyler,
I am conparing the icon in the #3 copy with the icon in the #15 copy. In #3, it feels like the icon is a body with hands raised toward the sky with a head (no smile) on top of the 4 limbs. In #15, the icon seems like more of a design with a smiley face on top and not as much as a body. can you please send me two more copies --one of the icon from #3 with the colors of #15, everything else the same on #15 with the smiley face, and another copy of #15 with the head of #3 and the body of #3. thanks a lot. Nicky

I think you are asking me for two versions with the icon from #3 and the colors and text from #15. One with the smile and one without. Let me know if I misinterpreted that.

Dear Tyler,
you got it right and I am very pleased with this logo. I will choose number 17, the one without the face. thanks a lot. It was fun doing this process with you. Nicky Silver
