hi there, people! :)

Have to admit, I'm proud to be here. Thanks, Palmer! Once again, I'll prove I'm worth it ;)

So, my name's Alexander (and I'm not an alcoholic... at least yet :) ). I'm from Russia originally, from a half-Jewish family even more originally, and only God knows what am I doing in Caracas, Venezuela (aside from studying graphic design after a failed attempt to do a postgrade in geochemistry).

Got my gilfriend here - a violinist and an opera singer (it's the same person, just in case someone thought it wasn't), two cats, a car... And loads of talent to spare :D

I guess you've got the picture ;)
It's great being here with you, guys!

Cheers!

Monsieur Elements

Does that mean that if instead of winning I get in debts he'll be paying? :look:

Well it's gone up to 15% because I'm thinking of taking on a trainee

At this rate I'll be richer then Palmer ;)

Look forward to working (competing) with you

Hi, Alexander! Sounds like you lead quite the internationally interesting life, and have quite the talented girlfriend. Both a violinist and an opera singer? I trained to sing opera many years ago, but didn't get anywhere, so people who make it in that field really impress me. :)

Hi there, Morrhigan! :)

Believe me, they impress me too (the people who make it in the opera). And those who make it here and now - even more, for Venezuela isn't in its best shape lately. The thing is really tough for musicians here, and my girlfriend lives what they call here "killing tigers", that is, playing violin in churches when people get married (she, a National Contest winner in 95!), and occasionally singing some opera here and there (mostly for free)... Well, enough of whaling ;) I bet if you ask anyone in this world "hey, how are you doing?" he/she will tell you a more or less similar story :D
