This is a logo for an online fishing website called FlyBass.com.
http://flybass.com.

The Tagline is: Fun Waits for No One!

The main uses for the logo will be on apparel.

The current logo is one of my design which I don't particularly care for, it's just Rage Italic with a drop - I know you can do much better. http://flybass.com

I'd like to possible incorprate the shape of a smallmouth bass (seen here: http://fly-fishing-smallmouth.com/assets/images/SMallmouithIcthy350.gif), or an abstract of that shape.

Then use the word: FlyBass.com (note the capital "B") in conjunction with the shape.

The main activity is fly fishing, so it's possble a flyrod could be incorporated into the design.

Main Theme: The main theme should be the word: FlyBass.com with either a fly rod (straight or bent) or a fish shape; or all three together.

Main Concept: Simple is better. I'd rather avoid the over-used jumping fish. Shapes and abstracts are preferred over life-like images.

Colors:
I like yellows, golds, deep greens and earthy brown colors (and possibly burguny). How's that for specific!

For Skyvee,

Could you perhaps reduce the size of the FlyBass.com, so the fish and the text are about the same width? You can reduce the ".com" to conserve space. I want the FlyBass very visible, but the .com is less important.

On option two, the tail on the fish needs to be bigger. Can you make the eye red or maroon and the text as well? Let's try that.
You might add the tagline beneath the water line.

Hi Skyvee,

You must have missed the revisions I left the other day.

We cna lose the speedline above the "F", since I'd like you to try to move the bass back a bit, allowing for the appearance of a popper fly near it's mouth.

It will appear that the bass is pouncing on a fly. Sorry about that URL. Anyway you can design an abstract of that fly, any color that fits and place it in front of the fly. Maybe tie in some of the reddish color somewhere.
