Hello Team!
This must be my 10th project on here - and i'm looking for something fun!
I'm starting my own personal "poker blog" - to simply chat about my poker playing experience.
This isn't a business site - so lets make it a fun logo - it's up to you - but i'm looking for something creative...
"Munky" is a play on my last name - so maybe incorporate some kind of monkey creature? Who knows! But..it should have to do with Poker!
Can't wait to see what you guys come up with - always a winning design - please let me know if you have any further questions...
Andrew.

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Should say "MunkeyPoker" - thats about it!
What type of product or service do you offer?
No product - no service- simply a fun, personal blog to keep track of my poker play, and poker happenings...
How long have you been in business?
N/A
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Create an exciting blog - a place where people can see my progress in the poker world - and i can voice my opinions about poker, life, and anything i feel like in general :)
What are your long term goals?
Nothing in particular - simply looking to create a neat and fun web portal.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
Dec 1, 2008
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
People of all ages who enjoy poker, gaming, and otherwise just like to puruse blogs!
Who would you like to add to your audience?
An idea of "fun", "excitement", into my current blog - which is just a generic template.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
A FUN logo - doesn't have to be overally professional - something "young", energetic, and vibrant!
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
It's up to you - have as you will.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Like i said before - themes of a monkey (because of the site name), poker, chips, playing cards, all would be appropriate.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
That's it's a fun place to visit to learn about what's happening in my daily life.
What is your tagline or slogan?
None at the moment.
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
It's a poker blog - no messagee - other than poker's fun, and i love doing it!
Where will your new logo be used?
On my blog.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
None in particular.
List competitive URLs if possible
None really - i want to be better than everyone else :)
What sets you apart from your competitors?
N/A
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company
Poker is fun!

Hello Glyphica!
Thanks for the first go - however, i am not a fan of bubbly letters :) The Monkey's aren't bad - but for all the designers - if they are used, i'd like them to be "part of the logo", rather than to the side kinda?
Also - it's a little bit too cartooney for me - looking for a little bit more serious (i know i said "FUN FUN!") but not that fond of the cartoon look....
However - thanks for the first go - i'ts definately appreciated it. In whatever logo is designed - i would like some aspect of "poker" incorporated into it as well...whether it's card, chips, money, who knows - whatever....but something to symbolize poker..
Thanks,
Andrew.

Sorry for the slow response - i've been abroad for a few days..however, i should be getting responses within 24hrs of posting...
Giant - I like what you did with the "chip", however, not that fond of the text portion - i'd like the "image" to be somewhat incorporated into the text part simliar to what skyvee did... also, maybe, a little bit less "cartooney" and more professional?
Skyvee - i really like it - simple, professional, looks good - i especially like how you incorporate the monkey face into the text! Is it possible to see different variations with maybe different fonts / text layouts / colours? I really like the concept where we are at - but just not 100% there yet....
Thanks everyone! look forward to seeing a few more submissions!
Andrew.

Tyler - looks really good! I like the text / logo / everything you did - in the "graphic" portion of the logo w/ the monkey - is it possible to make it a "bigger" part of the cards...maybe make it a monkey face instead of a walking monkey? maybe show me abigger walking monkey? hopefully that makes sense!
But - i REALLY like it!

Crazeyman - not to bad - not entirely fond of the colour scheme.. However, ido like the design..i like the idea of the cadr w/ the monkey - can you try a few different colour schemes?
Tyler - i like it - really wouldn't change much more about it - i actually think i like the subtleness of the little monkey more after seeing hte big version...really can't recommend any changes!
