I just completed the logo for my orthodontic practice here at Design Outpost. I would now like to get Business Stationery products designed...business card, letterhead, and envelope.
I will request my logo to be placed on this thread so you can take it from there.
I would like the stationery to be white because i do alot of color printing in the body of the letterhead. The colors to be used should be the same as used in the logo.
I am including some professional association logos attached to be included in the letterhead.
Please let me know if more information is needed to help with the design.
Thank you,
orthodoc

Can you post the information you want on each piece?

Sorry i should have placed the information on the first post.
The business card and letterhead should have my logo with both office addresses and phone numbers and my website (under creation). The letterhead should also include the Association logos (2)attached to my prior posting. The envelope should have my logo and the Main office address only.

I like the clean look of the layout but the letterhead seems to be lacking a little "pop" at the top section. Can you think of a design element to support the logo at the top?
A few changes:
Letterhead: The association logos at the bottom should be in the red color (2 color print job). Remove the words "main office" and "satellite office" from the addressess. Change the web address to www.malanbraces.com (http://www.malanbraces.com) on all the pieces, On the envelope, increase the size of the logo and letter font size a bit, while decreasing the font size of the "Creating Smiles for a Lifetime" line so that it is about the same size as "Malan Orthodontics". Can I see the business card with the large Logo in White stamp out.
Thanks,

Jeff,
I think I like the business card large logo side in the lighter shade of the background like the first version. The letters "www.malanbraces.com" can still be in the white.
On the other side of the business card, please place the logo on top with larger image size, then place the two addresses below rather than to the side.
Envelope: Increase the font of "Creating Smiles for a Lifetime" to a size between the first and second version. Also add to the lower right portion of the envelope "www.malanbraces.com" with watermark.

Sorry to finish my last post:
Letterhead- at the bottom the web address looks washed out. Will it look more readable in print or is there something to do to help it stand out? Maybe a small rectangular box with the address in the "yellow" color with the letters in "red" or white?
thanks,
orthodoc

The lettering will be clear when printed. Once everything is approved I'll give you a PDF so you can see. You have 2 options for the business card front.

OK, great. Just a few items to adjust
Envelope: Reduce font of "Creating..." to the size of the Capital "M" in the Logo above it. It looks bigger than the first version.
Business card:
In both versions, make these changes:
Try putting the addresses right and left block style, rather than the current line style. Substitute "Main Office" to "Fresno Office" and substitute "Satellite Office" to "Kingsburg Office".
Also, let me see how "www.malanbraces.com" looks in the "red" color rather than "white".
Thank you

Thanks for the edits. I realized that I should have my name on the stationery but I am not sure where to add, "Randall L. Malan, D.D.S., M.S." to the letterhead and business card. I think I am OK without my name on the envelope. Please advise with options.
Regarding the Business Card:
Although I want the letterhead to have a white background due to the plan to print laser color photos, the business card side with addresses does not need to have a white background. It just looks real plain without much flair. The red color box does not look great either. It looks like something i might design myself on Microsoft Publisher. Can you add some design element to give it a more professionally designed look and feel? I am not being critical of you, I just feel like maybe I restricted your creativity with the details of information that I requested. Please show me some of your creativity because I am not sure what to request. I wish I could be more specific but it needs something.
Thanks

Your logo really needs the white background in order to stand out with the gradient shading. I wouldn't put it on any color. You have a lot of information on the card and starting to add "flair" is going to greatly complicate things. The goal of a stationery package is to have a cohesive look throughout the branding elements.

Ok, let's see if we can wrap this up. I am stuck on the placement of my name on the letterhead. Try placing it below the page just above the street address.
I definitely like the business card with the half circle. Enlarge the font a bit on my name. Normally there would be a comma after the last letter of my last name, but when my credentials "D.D.S., M.S." are on the next line, I am not sure if the comma should still be placed after my name on the initial line. Do you know for sure?
I think we are just about there. Thanks for your patience in getting this right.

Definitely no comma when it's on 2 lines

Looks great!
Re: Letterhead- could you take the web address on the bottom of the letterhead and enlarge the font size and place it on the bottom left just above the bottom line. Make it in a light "watermark" appearance like on the envelope. This should allow the adddress lines to be shifted down one line as well as the graphic line to be shifted down one line too.
Thanks

OK, I think it will look better to move the watermark to the right bottom side of the page. Also enlarge the font and darken a bit to make it more noticeable.

To be clear about moving the watermark, move to the bottom right and still above the graphic line.
Can I see my name in a little bigger font above the addressess.
Thanks
