I am looking for a logo for a new website, Foottarget.com
I want included in the logo: Our Aim is Foot Pain

Deadline 12-15-2008

An arrow with the slogan with a foot target is something I was thinking. I'm open to all suggestions, if you think of something else and it looks awesome, I'll pick it. Like Blue and Gold as colors. Trying to avoid the store Target's red and white logo, don't want copywrite infringement hassels. Again, I am open to 2 colors including red and white depending on the design.

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Foottarget.com
What type of product or service do you offer?
Foot comfort items; shoes, socks, pads, insoles, creams/lotions
How long have you been in business?
Just starting
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
A memorable name and slogan so people can find me easily.
What are your long term goals?
Successful seller of foot care products with informative reviews.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
12-15-2008
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
None
Who would you like to add to your audience?
People with foot pain and people in need of foot products
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Open to suggestions. An arrow aiming at a foot target.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Blue/Gold or Red/White No reason, Others, open to color but don't want Target to come after me!
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? No

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
We are serious about good products for the foot.
What is your tagline or slogan?
Our Aim is Foot Pain
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Come to foottarget.com for your foot care needs.
Where will your new logo be used?
On the top of the website, business cards
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
chain stores, podiatrists, shoe companies
List competitive URLs if possible
www.footpaincenter.com
www.shoestuff.com
www.mynewfeet.com
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Give reasons why you need the products
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company: Our aim is foot pain

Thanks for the logo design, like the idea but the colors just don't do it, my mistake. Lacks staying power.

Thanks everyone. Really like Rongen's logo, draws you into it, nicely done. Ron, don't know if different colors or fonts would improve the logo. Also like how Giant used to 2 oo in foot for a target, version 2, I do want the slogan used in the logo however. Like how this is coming along everyone, thanks again.

Thanks SkyV, the red and blue are much better then what I picked. The foot is too much, takes attention away from the name.

How 'bout this? Thanks!:)

Rongen, I like how the logo gives the illusion of looking into the foot. How about making the design more triangle or winged shaped or moving the slogan around. Just some suggestions on a really good design. Thanks

Thanks again everyone for the revisions. Giant, sorry but the design just doesn't do it for me, too cluttered. Skyvee, 1D and 1E have promise, letters look heavy. Bogglins, like the idea, I do want .com on the logo and I like the scope, but wonder how many people would know that the symbol is a scope.

Bogglins, good version 2, can we play with the scope in the middle and red Foot and slogan with black or gray Target.com?

Thanks again for the revisions, hope everyone had a great weekend. SkyV, the version 2 is a good one, like it. Ron, version 2, I like the triangle shaped dot and the com in the vertical position. Still like the version 1 but lets try with the dot com as in version 2 on the 1st version. Ron, also like to try the smaller font size of the slogan on version 1 as well. Think were getting close here. Thank you.

After carefully reviewing all of the designs, especially Rongen's and Skyvee's, I have decided to go with Rongen for the final revisions. Again I want to thank everyone for their efforts, especially Skyvee, for coming up with some very good work. Sincerely, gprich

Thanks Ron. Using version 3, let's try putting the triangle dot com, red and also in blue, under the target like in version 1. I think that might help balance out the slogan on top. Oops, slogan should read, 'our aim is no foot pain' sorry about that.

Ron, I think I posted this in the wrong area before. I really liked your version 1 since I saw it. The revisions look even better, thanks! Before I commit, I would like to see the small triangle in red and also in blue, and com in blue, under the last part of target, as in version 1. I think this helps balance out the slogan. The slogan needs to read, 'our aim is no foot pain' sorry for the 'no' omission. I think that would be a winner, your comments are welcome. Thanks, gprich

Hi gprich, Here are the revisions.
It was funny that none of us notice the missing "NO" :)
I think it's a fact that we (designers) are highly focus on using our right brain.

Thanks Ron, these look great. I like #2 for its uniqueness but I think my customers will remember #5 the most. It's clear, good and unique! It just has a way to draw you into it and it looks balanced. The triangle dot is really cool, you might be starting a trend with it! Keep thinking with that right brain, I like it. My pick is #5 unless you have something else to show. Thanks again for all your hard work. gprich
