Hey, Ive been checking out the work done by designers here for quite a while and thought I would see if I could get some help with a personal project.

Sorry I am only offering $30, but I am not making any money with this.

My domain is KillerHippo.com and I don't have any snazzy graphics (or the talent to do my own).

I am looking for a professional looking kinda cute/hip/edgy/cartoonish killerhippo type logo.

I am into computer security/hacking and don't know if it would be possible to mix that theme into my logo. It is not nessessary.

My webpage currently has a sample of a graphic I came up with from one I don't own. I don't think it is personalized enough (and its too big).

Well, here's my version...
I used your hippo, except I pretty much changed its nose. Hopefully, it doesn't look too piggy.. Anyways, hope you like it!

Wow, that was fast....

I like it...I am not really into the colorful background and maybe a bit snazzier on the KILLERHIPPO font.

Someone had suggested a kinda terminator/hippo type thing, like half hippo, half machine...

I think the metalic/green color scheme is going to be used in my site (like matrix colors).

Anyway can't wait to see what else is proposed!

I've made the hippo a tad more sinister looking than your original design, but not so sinister that it scares your visitors away! Let me know what you think...

jonmulk - Thanks for pointing out my similar graphic...now you know why I am looking for a new one...I like what you did, its a nice simple look....I would prefer it have more of at technical theme

DisturbReality - Nice how you incorperated my feedback into your origninal design..this will definatly be in the running...

pennyln - I like the clean professional look of this one. The hippo is a little scarrier than I was looking for....it would be nice if you could incorporate a technical/half hippo/half machine/or matrix kinda look.

Alex Kogan - Also nice. I am not thrilled about the color scheme...but not sure what to suggest...maybe some bright green..instead of yellow...I really like it though.

I feel bad about giving feedback, because they are all so good (much better than I could hope to do)...I will probably be closing this down in a couple of days...I like all of them...these are better than I was hoping for...it is going to be very hard to choose!
