I've created a new line of limited edition, fine art bronze sculpture that will be sold nationally in art galleries. We are looking for a logo that promotes a sense of whimsy, and fun, but not silly. These are fine art pieces that will sell from $400 to several thousand dollars. I've attached images of the sculpture for inspiration. The name of the line is Out of the Bowl.

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Thanks so much for submissions so far. Here are my impressions.

Paula 23 #2.
I really like this idea. I like the font and the color scheme. The piece that you used is called Sumo Pear. I noticed that you used the image with the back side of him (his feet are facing backward). I would like to see this with him facing forward. Although some I have showed it too loved the three colors on the pear, I would like to see the pear with just the base green color and the white highlighting. This will also clean up the black and white version. I would like to get rid of the bottom shadow in the black and white version. Also I would like to get rid of his belt as it's hard to see what it is.

I would love to see this set up with the chili peppers dancing (salsa), as well as the bananas dancing (banana tango)

I love the concept

#3 lutfi.

Thank you for your submission. I really didn't care for this concept. The banana is a bit too cartoony and I didn't care for the font.

Paula 23 #4

I love the idea, but many I have showed it too that are not familiar with the line don't see that it is a orange slice playing a bongo. Also when this gets smaller I think this problem will be amplified. I do like the font, layout and color scheme however so perhaps using the Pear or antoher O in Bowl with arms and lets and a stem instead of the orange. I'll post an image of one of the concepts that we originally liked for your reference.

#6 loguru

I like this set up, however I don't care for the scrolls or the block with font below the bananas. I like the idea of incorperating the bananas though. We have thought of going with a 70's look for the brochure. I'll post the brochure image for inspiration on font and other highlights.

Thanks so much for all of your submissions, and I look forward to seeing more concepts and revisions.

I posted an original logo concept. I like this idea, but want a more polished look. I like the O being modified with arms and legs and a stem.

I also added a brochure concept which had a 70's feel for insipiration.

Thanks again for all your creativity and work.

Deanna,
The bananas were my first concept so I do like the idea of using them. I think the color of the bananas is a bit too bright so it feels a bit cartooney. My thought when creating the line was to have them look as close to real fruit that just came to life. Is there a yellow that more matches the piece? I like the brown, but no the pink, or green.

Paula

I like #9 and #13 very much. After seeing #13, #9 seems just a bit bland. Can we see it with a bit different font, or somthing like the stars to give it a little more.

#13 is great, my thought is that it might be a bit too whimsical. It there a way to tone that one down just a bit, perhaps lining up the font. I would also like to see this version, as is, with a pear without the arms and legs or belt. I do love the symetery of the logo. I love the color tone of the pear.

tini1.

I love the concept, but am afraid of the colors clashing with the actual pieces. This will be used in a catalog with the images. I really like the idea of not using an exact image of one of my fruit, but as you did something symbolic of the fruit coming alive. The more I look at it the more I like it. I love your designs... Can I see another? Perhaps new fruit creation, (she certainly has some attitude:) perhaps a new color scheme.

Titania. I think the colors are too primary. I'm looking for a richer look. I don't really care for using this many fruit as I think it gets a bit distracting. The concept of the bowl itself is intriguing.
