I like the simplicity of these which is what I am after. I think the font is a bit too small in the first one I like how the 'J' is a main focus whereas on the second one I find it a bit confusing that there is 2 'J's' at the start, I do however like the font in my name. I also don't mind if there is black in the logo also. Thanks for doing this it is very exciting.

Thanks for all your ideas.
Xpressions: I don't mind it, not sure if it's the one though I think it needs more colour but not too much. I would like some more yellow in the green giving it that nice fresh lime green colour. Maybe a different font for the 'J'.
Glyphica: again not sure about the 'J' font and the star. Perhaps space out the letters a bit more.
Shnickerdoodle: Not really working for me a bit too busy but would love to see more ideas.
Some ideas I thought of:
-maybe something with my initials somewhere in the logo
- saw some logos where the last name was in a bolder font, like that too
Here are a few I saw on here I like, hope it's oK to post them

Thanks everyone, lots of food for thought here.
Glyphcia: Not fussed on the one with the square but I like your other two #3 & 5. On #3 I would like to see some more yellow in the green still not right, maybe the word photography bigger and longer just inside the edges of the logo and and another font for the 'JR' and more of a brighter baby pink.
For #5 same thing 'photography' spread out more and a different font for the 'JR'.
Elogonics: not really what I am after and not fussed on the 'JR' font I prefer lower case letters, would love to see more designs.
I would also like to see some samples of perhaps my name in black (or a shade or two lighter so it's not too stark) for my name and then the use of the green and perhaps the pink in my initials and word 'photography'.
I'd also love to see something similiar to the 'andrea brown' sample I posted with the initials above the wording.
I really appreciate your time

Offbeat design, I really like where you are going with these but the lime green is my main colour so I definately need it in there, the pink was a bit of an afterthought so I'd love to see these designs with the green instead of the pink. I love the green the below poster has used.
Tini1: I prefer the simplicity of the above designs although I really like the green you have used it is the closest to the green I am after yet

Thanks for all these.
Offbeartesign: my favs of yours is 5d I like the font for my initials I would like to see my name in charcoal instead of the black.
Glyphica: I like version 6a of yours but would like to see it with the word 'photography' a bit closer together so it is not as long as my name.
I would like to see if someone could do something similiar to the sample I posted earlier of 'Christie Provost's' with an initial or initials to the side just to compare to these, or any othrs ideas that you may have.
I appreciate everyone's time and I love logging on here to see all your new ideas.

Glypica: I like your version #8 could you please try it in the green 'pms 375' and also could you please do one with the word 'photography' slightly closer together so I can compare the two together.
For version #9 do you mind doing them in the above green and on the one with the initial to the side are you able to move it closer to the rest of my name. Thanks.
Offbeat: I am really liking your version #10
Xpressions: I also like your #4 I would like to see the 'jenny' perhaps not so bold on one and then if you could do another perhaps with a different font for the'jr'
Thanks everyone!!

Taldo:
I like your second one without the green.
Before I make a decision I'd love to see some more ideas with initials in the centre of my name. Even though I like all these other ones since i still have time left before this expires I am still happy to see more work and different ideas. So keep them coming, I love seeing what you come up with.

Nutscreative: I really like your Version#1 but think that the 'j' is too long and would like to see some other fonts, and perhaps the word 'photography' a bit bigger and more visable I feel it doesn't stand out too much on the white background perhaps even my name could be a tad darker too but not black.
I als like your version #2 a lot and would like to see that with the word 'photogrphy' centred more under the 'r' and also would like to see similiar but different fonts for my name still keeping that lower case.
Taldo:
I am loving yours but need to have the word 'photography' more visible i feel it's very hard to see and also would like to see some variations of fonts for my name.
Xpressions V5: I really like this but feel it is too formal for what I am after and the 'j' is a bit too big/high, would love to see some variations with my name in lower case and some different fonts for name and initials.
thanks everyone for all your fantastic efforts!

Taldo: Still love this but would still like to see a couple more variations on a different font for my name to compare.
Glyphica: Not really digging thaose initials font in the centre there
Nutscreative: Not sure baout the placement of the word 'photography' in version #4, Version #5 is a nice spin on it.
I definately feel as if I am getting there with this, it has been so hard as there are so many i really like. To help me decide now would jsut be to see is a few more variations with a different font for my name, I do like the lower case rounded letter look.

Its it possible to get the PSD file on a transparent background? I would like to be able to use the initials as a stand alone symbol to use as stickers na dother printed matter.
I am also currently redoing my website and I may need to tweak the colour of the green to match (which I should be able to do if it was a PSD file and if I knew what the fonts used were.
If you could slightly make the word 'photography' a tad bigger but keeping in the same dimensions as before.
Is this possible?
Thank you so much, I just love this logo
Taldo
01-11-2009, 04:15 PM
Yes, I can send you a PSD with transparent background. Here it is with "photography" slightly larger. Let me know if this looks ok.
Thanks!:)
