What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Sales Force One
What type of product or service do you offer?
Manufacture Representative - sales
How long have you been in business?
11 years
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Make it more memorable - industry is full of boring names/logos
What are your long term goals?
create or import my own product
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? January 31
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Retail store owners and buyers (customers) Manufacturers or importers (vendors I represent)
Who would you like to add to your audience?
more of the above
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Something to relate to the underlying word play - Sales Force one is spun off from Air Force One "for Presidential Service" also because I am a sales force of one person
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
nope
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Kind of like the jet - the Air Force One thing and because I travel the world for product
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? global source or sales
What is your tagline or slogan?
not decided - but something along the lines of 'for presidential service' or 'expand your sales force' The problem with this whole airplane connection is I don't want the customers to think I'm selling airplanes or travel services. Probably needs to be more subtle ?
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience? I'm a traveling salesman connecting retailers with sources from around the world.
Where will your new logo be used? business cards, letterheads - no web application
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos? Alot of business names contain the owner(s) names, so you see a letter or monogram style logos
List competitive URLs if possible
not
What sets you apart from your competitors?
hard work - the perception is that we collect a percentage and don't do anything to deserve it
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
sales
