Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
PhotoArt Weddings
What type of product or service do you offer?
Contemporary wedding photography - a balance of magazine & photojournalism.
How long have you been in business?
New - creating a fresh brand.
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Immediately recognisable brand. A logo that says modern, contemporary, happy, pleasant to work with, professional.
Attract clients who are prepared to pay more for our brand.
What are your long term goals?
To expand business into a full-time concern and create a reputation for myself as the photographer to have.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
No hard and fast deadline - I'd like to decide on or around 15th April.
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
25-40, appreciate artistic images, people who are prepared to spend more for a quality product & service.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
An image that sums up our business values (high quality, friendly, believe in romance & marriage), with the words PhotoArt Weddings as text - either on one line or split over two lines. Photo & Art have no gap between the two words.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Use of a bright colour (and white/black/grey for text) that reflects weddings. I like white backgrounds but am not ruling other ideas out.
I'd also be interested to see some designs featuring one dominant colour with complimentary colours used to a lesser extent in the logo area of the design.
Any dominant colour would be used to continue the theme and used as text on a website for example.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
I'm easy on this. Hearts say romance, but are they too predictable? I don't know the answer to that. I'm happy to be advised and see examples of your creativity. No icons of cameras or lenses please. The icons should reflect the heart-felt experience (romance/love/emotion) & not the tools of the trade. Text & image set against a white background.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
We are a married husband & wife team who believe in weddings and the importance placed on long lasting photographic memories, modern, contemporary, professional, happy, friendly, our clients become our friends.
What is your tagline or slogan?
Don't have one at present.
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We are modern, different to our competitors, we engage with you during the wedding process. We build a relationship with our clients that puts them at ease throughout the pre-wedding & wedding day experiences.
Where will your new logo be used?
Everywhere - business cards, web, stationary etc.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
List competitive URLs if possible
What sets you apart from your competitors?
We offer an great experience at every stage of the process. We constantly remind our clients how wonderful they are & engage in their big day. We offer an exceptional quality service using the latest & finest products available. We keep up-to-date on current trends and ideas.
