Hello World Most Talneted Graphic Artist,
You guys are awesome.
I am in the process to getting a website setting up to sale magazine subscriptions.
the address is www.subscriptions4all.com
I need Logo for webpage, print work (business card, greeting card), and Print T-Shirt Logo.
Webpage logo needs to be small enough load quick on the website.
Other logos need be in High Resolution for printing reasons.
I want the Logo says:
Subscriptions4all.Com
the people you can trust
I want it to be something people will easy remember. It is going to be brand image for my company and my website. I want have the friendly touch to it too.
I like to use warm or friendly color like amazon.com, it doesn't have to match my current webpage. Further down the line, I will change the whole look of my website. I plan to change into warm color like Amazon.com. I don't care how many color you are using. Just has to be professional
I have thought of turn the letter "S" into a Chinese dragon. I have no idea how it looks like. Just a thought.
Doesn't matter what you guys come up with, I like creative, but most importantly people will remember my company as a friendly, trust worthy, give back to the community type of company. Oh, did I mention, I sale magazine subscritpions on the site?
Let me know if you any questions.
Thank you.
Han

Hi there, Han! :)
A couple of questions.
1. Is the idea of converting the "S" into a Chinese dragon supported by some objective reality or it was just a thought? That is, how do I justify a Chinese dragon in my design? Why Chinese and why a dragon?
2. Could you tell us a bit more about you target group? Do they have some specific age limits, interests, social status etc? Are they formal or informal? Or somewhere inbetween? :)
Cheers!

The letter 'S' into chinese dragon just a thought. I am chinese, I always liked dragon. A lot of american like Dragon too. So, I thought maybe give it a unique asian look. But, we don't actually have to do that. I want it look strong * faithful. Just want my customer know, we are seriouse about our business. We are here work out best to provide them best magazine subscription service.
2. Could you tell us a bit more about you target group? Do they have some specific age limits, interests, social status etc? Are they formal or informal? Or somewhere inbetween? :)
My target customer would everyone. I mean thinking of someone who doesn't read magazines? Anyone? All my friends and family members read some type of magazine. I am restricted to sale magazine within U.S.A. right now. However, in 6-8 month, my customer will be international. I will have the feature to deliver U.S.A. magazines to other countries.
My two biggest customer group would be: Magazine readers from U.S.A. and Cananda for Now.
I sale magazine for all type of interest and hobby. So it's really hard for me to get a general descriptions of my typical customer.
I have a lot of university students buys, university teachers, home mom, teenagers, etc.
Thank you asking these great questions.

I liked this design.
Can you change the color around so that "the people you can trust" can sort been seem?
Right now it's sort like a backgound.
But the phase "the people you can trust" is just as important as my Brand Image "subscriptiosn4all.com"
Thank you so much.

Let's forget about the idea of Dragon.
I don't think it will make the Logo look professional.
I like the disturbReality look, professional. Kinda like amazon Logo.
I just need some color changed for the buttom phase "the people you can trust".
Anyone got any professional and 20 Centry, New Age, contemporary, abstract type of look?
You think I need a icon of a Maganzine to assoicate with my web address?
Thank you all for your wonderful efforts.

Thank you for redesign for me.
I like the middle and buttom one.
Let ask you this.
When you shrink the size down to put on my website, can people read the "the people you can trust letter"?
It's definitly cool Logo for a shirt.
What about letter and business card? Can people still the phase of "the people you can trust"?
When I shrink it down, the "people" looks "foople"
The image looks fuzzy on the webpage.
You might take a look at yourself at www.subscriptions4all.com
The site is not publish yet, in fact you can't purchase any magazine yet.
I just want to test out the look of the logo.
Thank you so much.

Hello,
I can twist it a little if you want. The customer will observe, I'm sure, because the 4 is highlited with it's color. Also, the clients will have the address in the browser and in the type address area.
I just wanted some feedback on my idea. If it's ok with you, I'll continue with it.
Here is a variation without the A and 4 mixing. I think it is clear now :)

G)(G, I can't read your post. Could you please post it again?
So, Far I like three people's work.
DisturbReality
Toldo
Gille
You guys are feeling, what I really want.
Here the things we might want to try,
the phase "the people you can trust"
1. Can we put into a blue ground box then the letter in white?
Would that show off more?
Or any other color combination. Remember, Warm and Friendly Color.
I am not an artist, so give me something in that type of line.
2. Keep the way it is without Box around the words:
I really like How Gille Emphasize the word "can".
Can we Emphasize both words "People" and "Trust"?
Maybe like amazon.com's logo runing a curve line with arrow underneath from the word "People" point to "Trust". I want to get the message "we are the people you can trust". So, I want Trust assoicate with People.
Please don't forget ".com", I know my name is too long but all the short name has been taken.
Again, Thank you all for your hard work.

Could you please play with color with word "Can"? Maybe change to Dark blue or like warm dark red, so it will standout aways from word "subscriptions".
I really like this one.
but palmer mentioned I might get in trouble.
Are there any other arrow you can use?
The Arrow connects People and Trust. What's in between is the word Can. This would make perfect.
Do you have other people open arm icon?
This is closer to perfection.
When conver the Jpg to Gif, it seems lost the image quality. As you can see at my website subscritions4all.com (http://www.subscriptions4all.com) it kinda fuzzy. I am sure you can figure out how to fix that. But it looks good, I like it a lot. We so close to finish.

Can we make this one looks like a magazine has been opened?
I am talking about the curve connects the "people you can trust".
Or we can make them looks like two open hands holding the phase "people you can trust" which give customer we keep our promise, type of feeling.
Or we can make both ends with arrows? So that one end has arrow point at People the other end has arrow point at Trust?
You think that would look nicer?
I hate the fact, we might not able to use the arrow like amazon. Awww, that was the best one so far.

Hello Han,
There is nothing wrong with using an arrow "similar" to the Amazon arrow but it can't look too much like it or yes, there is potential for a law suit. Most likely you would just get a letter from one of their lawyers to stop using the logo.
It would be best if Gilles just made an arrow that is more unique :)

Also, I am struggling to choose between this one with .com vertical and 3 boxes and the one with .com horizontal with 4 boxes.
Could you make some letter template, bussiness card template, and t-shirt template for these two designs, so I can get good feeling about them.
You are on my top pick list.

As this was not in the original brief and is extra work for the designers to design letterheads and business cards I suggest that they just attach the logo to a blank BC or LH, as for the T-shirt they maybe able to obtain a photo from the net and add the logo to it.
Hope this is Ok with you :)

Wow, they look great.
Can you swap the blue box with the one without it?
I am pretty sure, you are the winner. I just want to get a final feeling of it.
Also, are you able to sent me higher resolution picture files?
because, the JPG is compress won't look good on print works.
Thank You

Hi.
I can send the logo in a high resolution for print. The business card layout was not part of the contest..it is just to show how the logo would look on a business card. If you want to discuss additional payment for business card/letterhead layout...that would be great.
Thanks! :D
