Icons Contest *Project Over*

I’m looking for icons to use on a website I’ll be running soon.

Prize: $60 via Paypal

Deadline: February 16th 2003 (might be able to extend it if need be).

Site Navigation: Home / UK Scene / US Scene / Int. Scene / News / Video Games / Reviews / Forums / Chatrooms / Games / Misc / Links

What I want:

If you take a look at the below website, which is mine too – I want icons similar to those (on the left) BUT I want them for the wrestling101 site and would like the icons to be transparent.

I want an icon for each of the above navigation links, which hopefully fit in with the wrestling101 design. If you make them about the same size as the ones on the above site (TWO), that should be ok.

A good example of a site doing something similar is: http://www.barrysworld.com

I'm with Sparkie, I can't see any of the icons, or half of the other graphics. :(

Well, that's just bizarre.
I've reloaded the page, right-clicked on the area where the icons should be
and selected "Show Picture" and the pictures just aren't showing.
I haven't got a clue...

It's probably because the files have some uppercase letters in them. I think filenames need to be in lowercase letter for all browsers to display them. Anyway, here they are. I copy and pasted them on a new canvas...

Hey Kam, Would it be ok if the Design Team submitted lets's say 4 icons of their choosing and you can critique from there. Then when you declare a winner they'll do the rest of them for you? I'm thinking you'll get more entries that way. You do need a lot of icons :)

Hi,

John - They're ok, just abit big and the images seem too basic, I'm looking for something more unique that fits in with the site (I know $60 isnt much for that).

Palmer - Those are my favourite so far, only thing is I cant work out what the games picture is suppose to be, but I like the look/style of the others.

It's the x-box silly :P Just in miniature. I was trying to make it look like a monitor with some sort of game going on on the screen. It's not supposed to be anything, just resemble some kind of game going on.

Thanks for liking them, it was fun magnifying them and working 1 pixel at a time :) They're all original, no clipart or dingbat fonts.

Here we go. These are all vector art, so they should scale up/down reasonably well :D

I have added some color to the icons.
You can use the intense colored ones as normal images and the faded ones as rollover images.
