Hello,
I have a client that I am building a Yahoo! Store for. Before I post a contest, I want to know if anyone has experiecne designing and building one.
If anyone has, please let me know so I can decide if I should run a contest for one or not. Please include a portfolio if possible.
Thanks!

Whats the difference between a yahoo store and a normal store?
In here your paying for a unique design for your site/store whatever, and usually the guys (and gals) will provide a sliced HTML template of that design for you to implement into your own site/store.
Or am I missing the point (it wouldnt be the first time)

Well, I am leanring about it all myself. So far, I need to make sure that whatever design I have done will fit into the Yahoo! Store criteria. I have yet to figure out just how flexible it is.
I asked Palmer if it was okay to post here looking for information, hopefully from someone with experience with it.
Worth a shot anyway! :)

I just had a quick look at the Yahoo set up and it appears you can use any programme, for example dreamweaver to build your yahoo site. If thats the case then anything designed here will be fine you will just have to implement the yahoo coding as you are the web developer ;)
It was only a quick look though, so you might want to check it out a bit more.

yeah, post a link to the yahoo guidelines for the store so designers can see for themselves.
