Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Kris Lane Photography
What type of product or service do you offer?
Portrait photography and soon to be offering wedding photography
How long have you been in business?
One year
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Establish a brand
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
Feb 12, 2010
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
middle class families, moms with newborns/kids
Who would you like to add to your audience?
middle/high end brides, higher end families
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Something recognizable. I need something that's more professional, but still fun.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
A dark neutral color. I really like dark gray and white together, with pink as an accent if an accent color is needed.
No greens or blues.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Nothing in mind, I'm open to ideas. I like silhouettes of people or things but I can't think of something that would work for weddings and kids both?
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
What is your tagline or slogan?
Don't have one
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Professional, but easy going and flexible
Where will your new logo be used?
All marketing and branding....website, blog, stationary, biz cards, etc.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
As far as a logo I'm pretty much looking for something in between these. #1 a little to soft and #2 too hard/urban.
List competitive URLs if possible
#1 http://carilynphotography.com
#2 http://www.charletonchurchill.com/
Here are some logos that I like. I like the use of the silhouette in the last one.
Thanks everyone!!!
