To guide the designers in the right direction from the start, please complete the following questionnaire and copy and paste it in the first message of your logo project:
Design Outpost Creative Brief Worksheet
Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Wolfe Orthodontics
What type of product or service do you offer?
Braces and Invisalign for children, adolescents, and adults
How long have you been in business?
Opening my first practice
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
I want a fun, modern logo that portrays the feeling of my practice. I want the logo to translate this feeling to print advertising, signage, and stationery
What are your long term goals?
To be recognized as a successful practitioner that uses the latest techniques and gives personalized attention to all patients.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? Feb. 26, but can be moved up if necessary
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Children, adolescents and adults (mostly mothers age 30-50)
Who would you like to add to your audience?
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Modern, but fun and "natural" feeling. I would like some sort of imagery of a Wolf howling at the moon. I think it would be fun if the moon had a smile with braces or some sort of imagery of braces in it/around it.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Blues, Greens, and Brown. I would like brighter shades with the blues and greens.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
The Wolf, moon, and braces of course
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
That we are a cutting-edge facility that is fun! but still a relaxing place to be!
What is your tagline or slogan?
Don't have one
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Where will your new logo be used?
Print advertising, business cards, letterhead, signage
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Other orthodontists. Their logos are the typical tooth with brackets or their name with a series of braces running through it. I want my logo to clearly demonstrate an orthodontic office, but with a unique design that will make me memorable.
List competitive URLs if possible
What sets you apart from your competitors?
I'm young(er) than some of my competition. I will have the latest in equipment and new techniques at my disposal that I will use to make orthodontics a more enjoyable experience that is appropriate for all ages.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
