We used Design Outpost for our last project, and I did not have to think twice before recommending the talent here when a need came up again.

Without much ado, here are the details -

Geval6 has been formed as a solid Professional Consulting Organization initially focusing on a few IT Technology Verticals and subsequently broadening the scope while building Industry Vertical strengths. Geval6 will grow as a Partnership Organization

How long have you been in business?
Start-up formed with partners that are veterans in the field

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:

What type of logo would you like?
Geval6 stands for 'Generating Value Together'. We would like for the logo to be reflective of its Partnership Organization structure and signify 'strength in togetherness'.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
We intend using the existing website of a sister company, and hence would like the new logo to go well with the color palette of the sister company's website. The website is w w w [dot] d i v i h n [dot] c o m

Communication Strategy:

Hello!

The idea of the icon is based on cooperation of two signs - 6 and G. It also refers to popular symbols of connection, partnership and unity in culture :)

Pracus, thank you for your submission. Interesting idea. However, the logo seems a bit too crowded at the center. The other problem would be the color. We need for the logo to blend well with our existing website.

Pracus, you are right! there is a good deal of red on the website..but to be honest with you, we are a little biased towards orange :)

xpressions, very nice! I like the concept and idea.. can we see a few more variants of it? different fonts, perhaps?

Thank you everyone for your submissions. The consensus at this time is that xpression's design comes closest to what we think is best representative of the organization's services/structure.

xpressions, as for the logo positioning, ver 1 (center) and ver 4 (right top) are good. We are not in favor of the use of black dots within the logo in ver 4 (makes it look like a football). We like the grey/orange used for the letters in ver 1 as opposed to the black/orange of ver 4. With this in mind, would you be able to show us a few more variants of ver 1 and ver 4, for us to decide?

Thank you for the feedback. With variants, do you mean font/typeface? I think as far as icon location we have that covered with the 2 choices and I believe your colors are predefined. :) Could you clarify? Thank you, again.

xpressions, sorry for not being clearer. Yes, we would like to see ver 1 and ver 4 with other font/typeface, and as for ver 4, we would like to see it without the black dots and with the grey/orange color combination.

xpressions, thanks for the variations. Can't say we are too crazy about the new fonts.. they look a little too fancy for our image. The simplicity of ver 1 was nice, but the '6' alone looked a little odd. Not meaning to hog your time, but could you show us a few more font/typeface variants?

Sorry for not getting back sooner..

First off, thanks to all the designers for the submissions. While there were many innovative designs to pick from, we have decided that xpressions' designs come closest to what is representative of the organization.

Honestly speaking though, we are still torn between ver 10 and ver 12. We like both of them, and are unable to decide which of the two 'logo positions' (center or top corner) we would like to go with at this time. In the interest of time, and to get this to a closure, would it possible for us to get images for both positions?
