Hello designers,
We are in need of a new logo for www.savingadvice.com. Please don't make the logo according to our current design as we will be having a contest next to create a new design for the site.
savingadvice.com is a site that gives free financial advice with articles, tips, etc.
I really don't know what we want the new logo to look like, we're open to just about any ideas... Obviously a money saving theme would probably be nice. Green? I don't know. We do want it to say "SavingAdvice.com - Because Money Matters" however we want all that to be editable later if we decide on a different slogan. If I can give any other info, let me know. I want to have this contest up for at least 5-7 days so take your time.
THANKS!

I like it! Could we see it in a couple different colors? Maybe blues/greys/purples?

How about an image next to savingadvice.com text... coins, dollars, bank,...anything that conjures up the image of saving

hi,
here's my entry. Hope you like it. Colors and typography are available for change. Any comments?

dusan,
I like a few of those... The arrow going up is a good example of what I was talking about. Can we see a few different variations of the left column, top 3 (I like those best.) The green font for the slogan is hard to read though, and maybe a different fontface would look nice for the SavingAdvice as well. Thanks

Wow, can I have all of them!? :) These are very nice. Give me a little time to discuss with my partner and we will make specific comments shortly.

Well we narrowed it down to 2 we like best.
dynagirl - We really like your first one... The only thing I don't like is the font used. It seems too 'fat' and almost seems like it should be italicized or a little curvy since the $ graphic next to it is curvy. Also could you play around a little with different colors? Maybe reds/blues/greys. Light colors.
graphxguy - I like your second entry. The colors are good but the font seems a little off still. Also I think the S and A need to be capitalized. The big "S" next to the text is good but I think it needs to be smaller. Also would be curious to see what the big "S" looked like with a low opacity blended in behind the SavingAdvice.com text. Like a watermark?

Here's a revision with the graphic as a watermark. Also with different fonts.
Looking forward to your comments.
Thanks.

Another ideas to join the graphic with the type.

graphxguy - thanks for making those changes, however I think we are going to go with dynagirl's.
dynagirl - We like #3-C! Can you move the $ to the left of SavingAdvice.com. thanks for the great logo!
Winner: dynagirl

You can't win them all. Or in my case, two. Ha, ha.
Congrats, dynagirl. Great job!
