View Full Version : Crossroads Life Coaching Logo - $100
(Admin code added by Palmer - H311OZO3)
Hi guys,
I have a client looking for a logo. They are just starting out and they are looking for a logo to represent their business.
Business name: Crossroads Life Coaching
Service: They talk with people from all age groups, teenagers, business people, sporting professionals etc... helping them with goals or helping them keep on track...
They are not sure at this stage what type of logo they are after. We are hoping to get some ideas from you and then work from there.
The logo will be used on stationery and must be designed in vector format. Would like to see designs that can be full colour, 2 colour and black and white.
We have a couple of weeks for the deadline though may extend if necessary. : )
Thanks guys

Well, let's break the ice before Raja comes with the same concept :P :innocent:
Problematic, red crossroads with green tranquilizing coaching :)

Another draft with the same motifs. Negative crossroads and positive coaching.

Here's another concept...
thanks everyone - have sent logos off for feedback. :)
Hi all...
I have received feedback for each logo.
-------------------------------------------------------
Taldo1 - I like this one the most - use of abstract design and the incorporation into the name. I would like a bit of work on the colour and some running writing to give flow effect. I also liked emphasis on the name ie crossroads and then underlined with life coaching - This had the best impact for me out of the designs. I like the use of squares and circles which shows diversity, I.e. big people - little people; men - women. The squares and dots remind me of thoughts and the fact that they cross is very effective. Gentle flow - the eye is drawn to the business name 'crossroads' rather than the logo, but the logo is very effective in its representation. This design would fit nicely on letterhead or business cards.
penyln1 - I was not too keen on this one - no abstract picture - too much about a sign post which I thought put focus on traffic rather than life coaching - I could not see this on a business card - reflects concrete perspective with main focus on the sign and not the business. I also thought the bold writing was too heavy and the colours reminding me of a warning sign.
kellishaver1 - Focus in this design is again on roads and does not reflect life coaching. I liked the combination of block and running writing. No abstract representation in the symbol.
dusan1 - Do not understand what the symbol represent (looks like a bird head). Flower symbol leaves me guessing as to what it represents - growth? or a house?. I like the idea of having a symbol that sits alone and is then replicated with the business name - such as the bird head symbol.
alexkogan2 - Logo doesn't clearly read as a business name. It looks like a rail crossing which is not representative of life coaching. The logo is not compact and doesn't flow. It's very bold and harsh.
alexkogan1 - Similar logo to alexhogan1. What is the significance of a box? My eye is drawn to the triangles more than the words. Bold and harsh. Would like something abstract but flowing and gentle on the eye.
I hope these comments are taken as my initial reactions and feedback. I must say I am impressed with the range which assisted me on what I like and don't like. As stated in the feedback the Taldo 1 I can see replicated with letter head, cards and web page. The others I struggle as they seem to be less abstract.
---------------------------------------------------
If you have any questions you would like to ask just let me know. : )
Thanks

Here's mine :)
I would like to thank everyone for their entries.
My client commented that all of the entries were of a high standard and he had trouble deciding the winner.
The winner is disturbReality for the black/gold version. Congratualtions. :)
Could you please send the logo to sales at demexdesign dot com in the original file format, .tiff and .eps thanks. :)
I will be back shortly for some stationery - hope you will all give it a shot. :)
