Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
<o:p> </o:p>
The Dry Cleaning Guy and perhaps our tag line “Just call the dry cleaning guy”

What type of product or service do you offer?
<o:p> </o:p>
<st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Mobile</st1:place></st1:city> (pick up and delivery) dry cleaning

How long have you been in business?
<o:p> </o:p>
New Business

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
<o:p> </o:p>
Brand recognition and familiarity

What are your long term goals?
<o:p> </o:p>
To be a successful small local business

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
<o:p> </o:p>
Two weeks

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
<o:p> </o:p>
Middle and upper middle class homeowners

Who would you like to add to your audience?

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
<o:p> </o:p>
Simple, keeping in mind that I need to have large decals made for a delivery van. I also think something that is animated; cartoon type guy might serve well. Perhaps in a running pose with a hanger of cloths in hand

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
<o:p> </o:p>
The base color of the delivery van will be a light (canary) yellow so a color that will contrast well with yellow and also projects a clean, fresh image. Perhaps light green or blue would work well.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
<o:p> </o:p>
Yes, since the name of the business is The dry cleaning guy, I think a guy would be appropriate image in the logo.

Communication Strategy:<o:p></o:p>

What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?<o:p></o:p>
Fast, easy and convenient. Also I want to project and image that says clean and fresh

What is your tagline or slogan?
<o:p> </o:p>
Just call the dry cleaning guy

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
<o:p> </o:p>
Make your life easy, save a trip to the cleaners, just call the dry cleaning guy, he makes dry cleaning fast, easy and convenient.

Where will your new logo be used?
On the delivery van will be the most visible place it will be used, but on so on all print advertising, website, biz cards and letter head, etc.

Competitive Positioning:
<st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Superior</st1:place></st1:city>, next day service. (most cleaners who pick up and deliver have two day to a week turn around times for returning cleaned cloths. The Dry Cleaning guy picks up your dirty cloths today and returns the clean and ready to wear tomorrow.

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
<o:p> </o:p>
Convenience

Jennifer, nice design. Would you flip the colors making the green areas the blue and vice versa so I can compare the two. I am thinking "the dry cleaning guy" may be more visible in blue. Thanks Mark

Hi Jennifer,

I need to have Inc. added it can be smaller then the other font. I'm hoping you can fit it after the y in guy and under the g in cleaning and have it not alter the design too much. Again feel free to use a smaller font to make it work. Please add TM

I want to have the copyright transferred to me I saw a form you needed to fill out.

My printer requested me to bring them the logo in Vector. I would also like a jpeg copy for myself.

I think that's it.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

See if this works for you or if the new text is too small. I'm not sure if you need it very readable or if you just need it included for legal purposes. I also changed the top of the hanger slightly and the guy's arms a little.

If you need any other changes, just let me know.
