Need updated logo for existing site $150

The current site and logo are at http://www.interprep.com. The logo with the big, ugly orange headphones is what I want updated:

1) I want 'Inter' and 'Prep' on the same line.

2) I want to drop the big orange headphones.

3) I want the new logo less rounded, more modern.

4) A microphone incorporated into the logo would be nice, but not necessary.

5) Keep it simple.

I'd like it much simpler. In fact, I'm partial to the color-inside look that the logo has now. I just don't like some of the other elements of the logo (see first post).

Hey all... sorry for not replying sooner. I was busy finishing off the Thanksgiving leftovers.

Some great looking logos. My thoughts:

-- I like Mute Design's second (non-video lined) set of logos. Specifically, the one with InterPrep on one line. I don't lik the microphone. I'd like to see variations on this logo/font (including lower case variations).

-- I like Dynagirl's #2 microphone, but not the font style. Also, any chance of that looking a little more like the second Mute Design third logo?

-- I also like Dynagirls #3a logo. Don't like the font (too wimpy) and would also like to see it with a smaller version of the mic to the left of 'interprep': "[LOGO] INTERPREP"

Do you mean you'd like to see more detail in the microphone or that you'd like a chunkier font? Or both?
