Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
3 Pooches. In smaller print should be "Unique Doggy Goods". Total name should be "3 Pooches Unique Doggy Goods"
What type of product or service do you offer?
We make custom dog collars, harnesses, leashes, and accessories. We're always adding new products to the line, but at the heart of it all is the collars.
How long have you been in business?
2.5 years
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
We have a very successful shop on Etsy, but we're branching out with our own website and we need a unique logo to help us stand out from all the other dog companies out there.
What are your long term goals?
To build a brand name that is synonymous with unique, quality items that you can't get anywhere else
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
Sept. 15th
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
People who's dogs are their children and they care for them as such
Who would you like to add to your audience?
We're introducing a more upscale line of items, so we'd like to attract those buyers, as well as keeping our reasonably-priced collar audience.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Something that stands out. We named the business after our 3 pooches, so we would like those pooches incorporated into the logo, be it their heads or bodies or whatever.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Kind of a celery-light green and chocolate brown. Those are the colors on our collar labels.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Our 3 dogs. I've attached photos of them. One is a chocolate colored Australian Kelpie, one is a black Pug, and the other is a blonde Shih Tzu.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
That our items are cool, unique, and quality made
What is your tagline or slogan?
Don't have one!
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Just because they're dogs doesn't mean they can't look cool, too
Where will your new logo be used?
On our website, business cards, promo items
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
I think these logos are cute - www.cheengoo.com, www.dublindog.com, www.upcountryinc.com
List competitive URLs if possible - See above
What sets you apart from your competitors?
We are constantly adding new items, whether it's a harness we designed for dogs that pull, or if it's new collar designs that you can't find anywhere else.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Cool, unique items for your dog
