Hello all

Contest Time: 7 days (sorry to rush you, hope its long enough)

Contest Rate: $200 to winner

Business Name : United Owners

Domain names: www.united-owners.net(temp) www.united-owners.com

Template Type: New

Business: Property Management for central Florida vacation homes which are rented out all year round.

Logo: Attached

Color: not sure about colours but the logo is green and blue so maybe that would be good but I leave it up to you as long as it looks good :)

This website is going to display all our company details and why people should use our new company etc.

I would also like a login (User and Pass) box for our owners to be able to login, as well as a Humanclick button somewhere on the page.
Our menu will consist of:

Home
About Us
Our Services
Bookings
Owners Area
Contact
Forum
Links

I am not really sure about design but maybe images of a rental home or something, visit my other site www.villas4all.com for various pictures of homes. I did like quite a few of the designs on this thread http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/?showtopic=1693 about real estate.
I have created a page with the text I would like incorporating into the template please and on this page is our logo also, I have various formats of this logo when I finished the contest for it so if you need better quality please let me know and I will get it uploaded.

http://www.united-owners.net/index2.htm

Please feel free to ask any more questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Thank you

Can you provide the logo in a .PSD or .EPS format for us?

The index2.htm link is not working for me at the moment. I inadvertantly left out the human click button but I think it would fit well under the featured listings box. Hope you like it :)

Here it is in a browser window (http://www.morningstarwebdesigns.com/templates/uo/template.htm)

Since I am a lil out of it, am I missing something on that Villas site you listed; are there any semi high resolution images of homes in your area to use in a design?

I was going to ask exactly the same thing.

I went ahead and just used a couple of stock photos. I wanted to hammer something out befor sleepy time.

Here it is. I went for a clean look. I wanted words in the header but I had two pools so I just added something. I'll work on that later if you actually like the design.

Hello outatime,

Not only is this my first post here, this is my first submission. It is a rough sketch, And I have not completed the header yet. Please let me know if this is something you had in mind, if you like it and if I should continue with it. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello all

Thank you for your ideas so far, all look great but a couple of things please.

First this site isn't for displaying villas for rent so the "featured villa" isn't really applicable at this time (although another contest in the near future will be).

Maybe something a little more coperate without all the beach pictures ect, a few villa pictures is good but its really to display our services for looking after homes and that we are the company for them.

I do like a clean look but also something thats a little more complex, not busy but something that fills the page out just that little bit more please.

Sorry no large res photos at the moment, I get sent photos and none are ever large only the small ones on the site, sorry.

Thank you again all, great jobs so far.

Here is my entry.

:flowers:

Been using my photographs I have taken lately, so the header is again one of mine...Just had some people asking me where I have been getting my photos lately...most have been ones I have taken.

x, you have such a style through your layouts - I think I could pick it out of 100 sites.

Nice entry.

For this revision, I just made some basic changes to my last design. I removed the featured listing area and the wording from the top. Just thought I'd throw it out there. ;-)

I have another design which I will post after this one.

JeremeDavid

Here is the other one. Same basic elements as before but with a more corporate tone and not emphasizing the properties as much. Would it be possible to shorten the opening statement a little? That's a pretty big chunk of text for the main page.

x, thats not a bad thing - was my attempt at a compliment, sir.

Ya, I figured that after I read it later in the day.

Amazing how the human mind mood swings; especially mine.

Hello all

Thank you for what you have submitted so far very nice templates but its not quite what we are looking for yet but it does have some of the elements like the Clouds and white dream effect and the rounded corners. I have attached 3 templates which I found which I like the look of, can anyone please do anything a little more like these?

You are not permitted to submit pre-made templates from previous contests in a new contest. If you want to enter this one, you need to modify your Real Values template to what the contest holders requirements are and then you may enter it. That would include using the company logo and the text that he has asked for.

Thanks :)

Hello Luc

Yes I did like your design, obviously we can't just add my logo but if you can come up with something similar I would like to see it but not a copy of a previous template entry please . Maybe some pictures of Florida villas around the top.

Re: pictures of villas, I have been searching my pc and have found some that should work, some are a little dark so unless you can brighten them up a little its probably not worth using but maybe the some of you might be able to use these in templates, I am a little concerned that a lot of blue and green is making the site very dark, don't want it to dark.

Thank you

Hello. I've already made the design before I read your post :( Here it is

<img src='http://www.weevox.com/mockups/unitedowners.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

I incorporated the colors of the logo and also use some other colors, I think it brings more life.

Yes I will use these villa pictures. However, what do you think of the whole layout -the boxes? Do you want me to change it? Just let me know.

Thanks!

Luc

hi outtatime :)

I created the first layout you mentioned. Unfortunately that specifid colour combo didn't work for the contest holder, and the general layout came in second...so it's an open layout that hasn't been used anywhere else.

I've changed a few things, customized it to your requirements and look forward to hearing what you think of it.

Thanks :)
