Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?

Learn Trading Fast

What type of product or service do you offer?

We are a blogging site that offers news, tips, and information regarding various financial markets including the stock market and forex market. Specifically the information is geared towards people who want to learn how to trade or who are seeking more information on that topic.

How long have you been in business?

The site has not officially launched yet

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?

We want people to understand that they should come to our website to learn and grow as traders. We don't want to come off gimmicky, our brand should convey professionalism and trust.

What are your long term goals?

We want to be a primary hub of financial market information and education. People should feel safe and comfortable with the design on the site so they keep returning for more information.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?

Oct 8th

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience

The financial market audience is predominately males at retirement age, generally 55+.

Who would you like to add to your audience?

We would like to expand our demographic to predominately male ages 25+

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?

We want our customers to feel safe, that the information provided can be trusted and is valuable. It should also portray that the visitors are here to learn, but at every experience level. Ex. someone who already understands the basics should not get the feeling the information provided is too basic.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

The current color scheme of our site is here: http://learntradingfast.com/

This choice is not set in stone. If your design choices move you into a different color realm we would consider changing the sites color scheme to match the logo. You are not bound to just the colors on the site, any colors that compliment well are also acceptable.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

nothing specific, though the logo should have something related to the financial markets incorporated.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

We want to appear professional and trustworthy. Also we want visitors to feel like they are here to learn.

What is your tagline or slogan?

none

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

Come here to learn about the markets, you can trust us.

Where will your new logo be used?

The logo will be used as the header for our site: http://learntradingfast.com/

I believe the width is 950px, there is no height requirement, but we want a rectangular design, nothing too tall.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?

http://www.swing-trade-stocks.com/
http://www.golearnforex.net/

In the above examples the text is too boring. It looks like they added color and a few photoshop effects, to me this does not declare a brand.

Honestly most competitors have similar logos to those two, it looks as if no thought at all has gone into the design.

What sets you apart from your competitors?

We provide high quality articles and deliver them in a way that is not overly complicated. Our goal is to educate.

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:

Trusted Market Educators

Thank you for the initial samples guys.

nhr, I like where you're going with that. The image seems a bit complex, I don't know if it needs more contrast or some other tweak, it took me a few seconds to even understand what was happening there, but then I liked it.

elogonics, two very nice samples. I like the font on the first one and the trailing g. And I like the graphic of the second sample. It looks like you mirrored the bars, can you design something with the bars moving in an upward direction?

Elogonics, I like version 3 a lot, this is very much what we are looking for. Can you give me version 3 using a blue color scheme?

Also, can you give me a few other options similar to this design? I like this one, but who knows, something else could pop out at me.

We have chosen elogonics for this project.

Specifically version 3.1b is exactly what we want, great work.

Hi I still didn't receive the images. I figured this would be the easy part :)

Is there a possible problem with the attachment size? I have looked in all possible folders and spam. Is there another possible delivery method, maybe via download?

Rainier, try sending via YouSendIt.com; that way the client has a link to a zip file, rather than an attachment.

Client - I don't know why you could not get it, but it goes through when I tried sending on two other gmail accounts. Anyways, please click the link (via yousendit) in your private message to download the files. Thank you.

Jenny - Thank you. :)
