Hello all,
Might I say, this is an outstanding concept. I've looked at just about every logo request and the designs that were submitted. Each and every one of you are extremely talented. Keep up the excellent work!
We are a very small off-road truck parts and accessories business that deals with the more "extreme" parts for extreme trucks. We need an edgy, rugged logo to go with a site re-design we have planned later this year/early next year. The site will be re-worked to match the logo.
The full company name that needs to be in the logo is "Louisville Offroad Outfitters". Time to get creative. :D Most of my competitors have leaned towards the more cartoonish designs with chrome looking graphics and flames. While we aren't opposed to this, we are looking for a more mature, rugged, but still fun logo that gives the potential customer a feeling of trust in who they are buying from. Some of the design elements could involve trucks or mountains. We do quite a bit of rock crawling (see here for some examples of the sport of rock crawling) (http://www.erocc.com) so something along that track would work well also.
This logo will eventually become the main identity of the company and be placed on everything. Literally. Shirts (both screen printed and embroidered), hats, stickers, etc. So something that will fit a very large age/gender demographic. The average is 25-55 males and transfer over to merchandising would be excellent.
Our current site is Louisvilleoffroad.com (http://www.louisvilleoffroad.com) if you need ideas as to what we do. Please forgive me about the current logo. It was done in 10 minutes and shows it. What can I say, I'm only creative when I'm designing, welding and torching things for trucks, not websites.
Any and all designs are greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing more of your excellent workmanship in the weeks to come.
Thank you,
JD Miller
