Just wanted to drop in and say hello. Guess I'm the new designer :)
I'm glad I was accepted, this whole set up seems very cool.

Here's some background on moi....
I was born in Las Vegas, and lived there for the last 16 years or so. I was a Graphic Designer in Vegas for about 9 years, working for a small Design and Print studio there. I got married in June and moved to LA not long after. My husband's work is the reason we moved here, he does 3D Animation and Special FX for film and television, so LA's the place to be. So we decided now was a good time to try our hand and our own design company, and that's what we're currently working on.

The appeal of this website is the actual communication it provides with other designers. Being a freelance designer working out of my home can feel very solitary at times, I'm not getting out and talking with people like I did when I was working for a company, so this seems to be able to provide some communication with others (so I won't go crazy) :D

Anyway, good to be here.
Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.

Diane

Nice to see another Angelino on DO
