I need a banner for the home page of http://www.emailwiz.com. This banner would replace the current block quoted text that reads:

"Upload your lists and combine our professional email templates with your product images and copy. Create email campaigns that grab your customers' attention, pump up your sales, and keep your company in the forefront of your customers' minds."

The idea is to use this text or similar text, but create a more visual presentation, rather than just having plain text. The width of this banner should fit within the white area and the height should be approx 400 pixels. It's OK if it's a little more or a little less.

I'd like the banner designed as a template, so I can swap out photos/graphics and text to create a slide show highlighting different features.

To get an idea of what I'm looking for, you can review some of my competitors' sites:

Is it ok to have a different color other than black?

Yes, absolutely. I may end up changing the website theme anyway, so feel free to be creative with the banner.

Here is my concept. I wanted to avoid the traditional rectangular banner to integrate it more to the site.

Colors, images and fonts can be changed at your request. :D

Here is my concept. I've kept it as generic as possible: 1 heading, one image on the left, some text on the right and 1 big button. This can be all easily changed/updated with new content when needed, the image being on a white background.

You mentioned this will probably turn into a slideshow. Do you need some sort of navigation to it? If so: arrows, bullets, or text navigation - any preferences?

Since I've made the banner really clean ad crisp I went ahead also cleaned up your site a bit: site background, style for the right column and background for features listing under the banner. The first impression is everything for a website, and those big shadows and grays make it look outdated (late 90s).

Silviu, I greatly appreciate your extra effort in redesigning the website theme. I made most of your suggested changes and I think it looks WAY better now!

Regarding the banner, I'm thinking of bullets for the slideshow navigation. Please go ahead and send the artwork for the banner and I'd also like to discuss having you design some other elements for the site.

The navigation for the slideshow can best be placed after you get all the slides done, and see how they look. As a first option I would place them in the bottom left corner like the attached.

Tomorrow and all weekend I'll be away from the office, so I'll send you a private right now with the link to the psd file. This way I don't keep you waiting if you're in hurry and what to get the design implemented. If decide you require any revisions, I will do them on Monday.
