UNIQUE/FUTURISTIC FONTS NEEDED!!!! $75ea

This is also for our "Voodoo" surfboard line. Mark Beaudry and El Kootcho seem to have the logo portion well in hand but we still need at least 2 more COOL "VOODOO" fonts to put on the front of these boards!!!

These performance surfboards will be mostly white (a few will have designs - flames, tribal designs, etc,) so the name needs to stand out. It will just say "VooDoo" and not "surfboards.".. Preferred colors are RED, SILVER and BLACK but feel free to experiment. The font will be 12"-18" in length and about 3"-4" high. The dhallenge is to make a word w/4 out 6 letters being "O"s to look creative.

We've got the bone fonts worked out but would like some other Cool ideas. It doesn't have to be futuristic but I was very impressed by some of the design ideas for the Area 51 contest - CUTTING EDGE is the concept - OR JUST PLAIN COOL.

Feel free to be AS CREATIVE AS YOU WANT!!!!!

No surprise that El KOOTCHO and MUTE DESIGN are leading the charge - great stuff - by EVERYONE. You guys are gonna make me broke and/or give Palmer an even bigger headache trying to keep track of my contests!

OK - MUTE DESIGn - I seriously like every design you've presented. I know my partner will want the "V" on the first few to look more like a "V" so let's try a few variations on the letter. I would like to take each font and add either silver or red so they're all 2 tone either on the edges or I'm a big fan of the fade font style. But I but would love to see some variations w/the 2 colors (you can make it 3 w/black if necessary) in whatever you think looks cool. I would like to see the purple one in a flame style (red/orange/yellow/blue) if you can pull it off. GREAT WORK AS USUAL.

Eagle - I do like your font style a lot. We'll need to see it along a straight line rather than curved if you can. Also do the font edges in a different color - silver or black.

Radical Seed - Can you do the second purple one in red?

EL KOOTCHO - I like #2, 3 & 4. On #2 (chain link), can you either make the edges black or try a red glow of some sort along the edges to act as further contrast against a white surfboard? On # 3, can we do red w/in the silver font for the body of the text? # 4 - can we do the "flame" blend ot colors/red/orange/yellow/blue? Killer ideas! By the way, just waiting for my partner's final feedback on the Voodoo logo...

Finally, if there are any "TRIBAL" font designs, let's throw them in too!

Thanks for the revisions. Is it poosible to post them a little larger si I can visualize better on the board? In #2, is there a brighter red we can try and in #3 is there a way to make it a bright yellow on bottom and a blue on top - basically adding 2 more colors in the flame. I am a big fan of cool looking flame fonts!

In addition to the futuristic font, I need ANOTHER Voodoo logo (in addition to the current Voodoo contest) that can be used in tandem w/ the futurustic font. This should be pretty simple but COOL and Furturistc. Incorporate a "V" in the logo and maybe put it into a circle or something!!! Same Prize amount - $75! COLORS - silver/black

A couple changes - please take your posts from 12/04 8:09am #1 as well as the two posts from Dec 5th, 1:57pm.

1) The 12/04 post, keep the same except make the enitre "V" silver, not just the outline. I would lke the entire "V" to be the same thickness from top to bottom (currently, the bottom is thicker than the top. I want the thickness of the entire "V" to be like the top of the "V.")

2) On the Dec 5th posts, keep everything the same except make the inner part of the "V" black so that you still have the silver outline of the "V" just make the body of it black. Again, I would like the body of the "V" to all be the same thickness - like that of the top of the "V" - same as above.

Surferdude, here are your changes you requested. These 'V's are getting kind of confusing though. :huh: Let me know if the thickness is right or not. Regarding this post: Did you want #1 V to be as thick as black body of #2. Both V's are same thickness overall. Also the word Voodoo is bolder in #1 than #2, which "Voodoo" did you want?

I like the bolder "voodoo" font in the darker version.

I'm having trouble explaining the "thickness" thing. Maybe a better word is "width." I want the width of the entire body of the letter "V" to be consistent. Currently the bottom is wider than the top. I just want it to be the same.

Can you redo in the three versions including the 2 background versions from 12/5, 1:57pm?
