UPDATE!!!!!!!! - New completion date!!! - I have a new exhibition to attend on 18/09 (so anytime soon would be ideal)

My Details:
Studiowise Photography - UK Social / Wedding Photographer

Main colours are normally - black, white and yellow (sun orange yellow rather than yellow yellow)

Here's the design brief.

I have in my mind a text based design. Plain background.
Its for handing out at wedding fayres and to be left at wedding suppliers shops and outlets. It is meant to play on the fact that the photographs are really the most important element of your wedding so dont scrimp on the budget for your photographer.

I want the whole design to be page dominant with the keywords much bigger and bolder so they stand out. Similar in style to a tag coud (or tag bubble) but notjust single words but sentences flowing down the page.

The keywords in the sentences below are shown in brackets and secondary words are in BOLD (but please dont use the brackets in the design!)

You can change the text if you tink you can improve it but don't forget its for a British audience.

--------------------------

The (WEDDING CAR) has GONE
You've EATEN the (CAKE)
The (FLOWERS) have WILTED
and the (DRESS) is on EBAY

What else have you got to REMEMBER YOUR WEDDING DAY?

any questions?

Hello, do you have a logo that you could attach in .ai or .eps format? Thank you. :)

Hmmm, i've ummed and ahhh'd aboiut this one!
I was going to only use my logo on the reverse so I could keep the design text clean and concise but then I am worried no-one will see my branding unless they pick it up from a literature dispenser. Happy to consider either option.

I dont have an eps - this is the best ive got as it will give you an idea of what my flyer branding usually look like. Do what you like with it.

Hello :)

Here is my proposal for your flyer. I look forward to your feedback.

We will need a slightly larger file for printing purposes (so there's no distortion in your logo/pixelation).

Thanks,
Stephanie

For straight out of the bag, you've almost nailed the brief.

Could we try filling the page with the text a bit more - larger text?
Could you change the emphasis so CAKE is more important than EATEN?
What would you charge to recreate my logo i posted up as i've messed about with it so much over the years (for web use), i'm not sure i have anything high res and print friendly
Can we go A5 as per the brief because all my literature dispensers are A5 and these will get lost!

Just noticed....

I was aiming and "what else have you got to remember your wedding day by?" seeing as you've got no cake, car or dress.

And you've gone with "what else have you got to remember on your wedding day?"

And while we're at it.
I am constantly criticised for having a masculine wedding brand - black yellow and white.

I am MORE than happy for someone to 'flower' it up a little as this is aimed at 99% bride and 1% groom!

Hi Martin,

I will make those revisions and post this weekend. Once you choose a designer then we can give you a quote on recreating your logo. Whoops, sorry about the size, what size is A5?

Thanks :)
Stephanie

A5 is 1/2 A4!
A4 is 297mm x 210mm - so half those dimensions :)

Okay, sorry about that. Here it is with the correct dimensions and the requested revisions :)

and flowered up a bit :)

I like the flowered up bit :)

I would rather have a portrait orientated A5 not landscape as shown.

The emphasis on the keywords now seems to be mixed! Eg eBay seems to be bolder than dress.

To reiterate - the words I put in brackets should Br the boldest as these are the key items wedding brides are interested in. The secondary emphasis should be shown on the words I capitalised (but didn't put in brackets)

Can we bunch everything up more so the overall effect is that the keywords stand out and you decipher the sentences rather than see sentences with big words in them?

Did you see the revised ideal completion date?

Hi,
where are we with this now?

Following on from last revision show...
Portrait in orientation preferred.
Could there be an 'in' and 'out' block of colour similar to one of the first designs?
Could the flowery bit be more single windy stem and flowers rather than a wall paper design style?

thx
Martin
