Attached is a picture of the Sandia Mountains which is our biggest landscape feature. We would like to have a logo that accents the outlines of the mountains with maybe a welcoming sun that captures the "Guidance Counseling" aspect of what we do.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

Glyphica, thank for the first post, but we would like more detail in the mountain range. The sandias have a specific shape that are recognized to people in Albuquerque and we would like to show case that. Also, the sun we would like something creative that shows "guidance and caring"...Can you try again please?

Gig, again thanks for the post, but the logo needs to speak to the fact that we are a "Guidance Counseling Center" so, more than anything the mountains should be subtle with another graphic element that speaks to the "Guidance Counseling Center"...

im3d...thank for the entry however the use of the light house is a good idea for "guidance" but like the previous entries does not address the concept of counseling. we're really looking for a soft look.

Maybe the concept of a circle with the mountains somehow in the background with a creative use of sun rays to some how cradle the Albuquerque Guidance Center might be another idea...

Also, would like to see some creative use of some fonts incorporated into the logo if possible. Can you give it another shot please?

Gig, this starting to look good...CAn we get rid of the stars and try to put Albuquerque in the top arch of the circle and then do something creative with the guidance center at the bottom coming up into the mountains...Youre starting to get there but the only element we are missing is the guidance and caring aspect in the logo...
