Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Low-range (from the budget perspective) wedding clients, high school juniors/seniors

Destination weddings, mid- to high-range wedding clients, mountain weddings
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Something that reflects our name; in other words, something urban/edgy/modern/contemporary. Nothing soft or too floofy (I just made that word up).
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Probably just blacks and greys.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Nope!
Communication Strategy:

Professionalism, crisp, new, edgy, modern, contemporary.
What is your tagline or slogan?
n/a
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Professionalism, attention to detail, excellent customer service, classic photography.
Where will your new logo be used?
Watermarks on photos, business cards, letterhead, and invoices.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
List competitive URLs if possible
http://www.2sistersphoto.com/ *Way too feminine.
http://www.photoelementstudio.com/ *Not professional enough.
http://www.cherylungarweddings.com/#/galleries/wedding/1/ *I like the simplicity of this one.
http://chrishumphreys.com/ *Not edgy enough.
http://jonischrantz.com/ *I kind of like this font.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
I am a very flexible photographer that is more in this business to appease my own craving for creativity and to help my clients as opposed to being in this business to make money. I stick to simple editing techniques and avoid fad-like editing options that will go out of style rather quickly.
