Hi we are wanting a footwear cataloge. This should be 24-26 pages. We currently have an online offering of this on our web site at www.orthotic.ca (http://www.orthotic.ca/). We are a prescription orthotic manufacturer that also offers brandname footwear. We will need a few lifestyle images in a professional format. Although there are a number of pages, once the format is done each page is somewhat of a duplication. the page size is 81/2 x 11. We will also include a few images of our orthotics, likely one orthotic image for each style catagory of footwear. Thank you in advance.

Hi Stephanie,
I think the design is a good start. These pages are set up nicley as banner pages for the catagories. We will need one page like this for each of the catagories as seen on our website footwear front page. We do not have a childrens section as of yet, so will not need pages for childrens images. The format I think will work if you use a page as you have designed with a lifestyle picture and room for images of a couple of recommended orthotic devices, for each catagory, along the bottom, basically like you have it. So, what we need to do is create the pages that group the footwear images. Do you have an email address??

Hi, Thank you. Yes. We need a commitment to work this through within a week or so. Can you do this? Your concept is working in the right direction. We do want to keep with our color scheme, greens like our logo, but feel free to add color as well. You noticed I'm sure that we have 4 style catagories for each mens and ladies. We will need a section for each. At the start of each section we would want a lifestyle picture along with an image of an actual orthotic, the type of orthotic we would reccomend for the style group and then the pages that follow will have a mix of the footwear, all the styles that you see on our website, with a few random lifestyle pics mixed through these pages for interest. Also, instead of just lining up the footwear we would want to see a somewhat random placement, maybe with a few larger pictures of the footwear and then some smaller ones, this would work well when we have stles that we are showing in more than one color. See what you can do but we are more than happy to get this going and done! We do need to have the working files included in our offering at the end of the process, Thanks so much.

But we should mix up the brands throughout each category so put the brand logo in each description. Our logo will be on the cover only, you can take it off of the pages, the start of each category will have the lifestyle pic plus the orthotic pics on the same page not on the shoe page. we need to lighten everything up by using screened color and removing the heavy blocks for the descriptions, also have a look on the description should be beside the heading ie. color: Blue/Black/Green not

Blue/Black/Green ect. I would also like a sidebar on all of the shoe pages, like the example higher on the page, perhaps on the outside of the page. Our phone number and website should be added to each page in small text at the bottom, 1-800-887-7138 orthotic.ca as well incorporate out tag line "Making great strides"

yes 8 lifestyle pics, most of the lifestyle pages will have just one orthotic pic but a few may have 2. the first page of each category could have women's athletic in the sidebar, then women's sandal in the sidebar to start the next section ect.

OK, lets just work forward. If you look at the examples on posting 13 and 14, that should give you an idea.

1. use only one color on the side tab
2. have the side tab on the outside edge of the page, so I'd like to see it in the view on the right hand side.
3. Use our tag line; Making great strides in a more creative way, maybe continuous.
4. remove the heavy break lines and replace with something much lighter and maybe smaller.
5. remove the extra color strip from the left hand side of the page.
6. move the text beside each image so it is not running below or under, you had it this way before.

Hi, Can you please move the tab that says womens sandals on the outside edge of the page and move the text that is for each image so that it is lined up beside and not down . Also, lets use smaller break lines. The outside boarder of each page should be color keyed, so lets see the main tab, the one on the first page of each style catagory, on the outside of the page and the pages that follow in that syle group will have a color key reference on the outside edge of each of the pages. Then a full style tab on the next catagory, a different color, and the pages fillowing in that catagory will be keyed with a tab that color. thanks

Hi there,

this is looking much better, i will have to give you the copy for the orthotic pages, and the high rez images of the orthotics on monday.. I have shared a dropbox folder with you that contains the high rez images of the shoes. the pages look great now, i wonder if more bold colours might be better than the pastel colours? the layout is perfect now though, on the pages going forward we will want to move the larger picture around on the page, maybe in the middle, at the bottom ect. the web is very accurate for brand and style numbers, so you can use that for the shoe copy.

Hi, I am working with the actual images using the materials from the dropbox folder now.
IMHO, The pastel color (the footer) actually better be not to have bold color as it will compete with the products on the page. But if you think that it is better to have bold color then I will change that. :)

in the second leaf, I tried using bold color for the footer. If you prefer this, I would use for other pages as well.
Some of the pictures of products in the web catalog are not available in the dropbox, so I left them blank. Could you please check again?
what about the lifestyle images? would you provide them? if not I'll use the low res version and you could change them later.

The bold colors are okay, once we see a number of pages put tegether it will be easier to decide..
1. i am working on the pictures of the missing shoes,
2. i think there should only be two colors on each page, meaning the bottom bar one color and the right and left side bars the same color,
3. the sidebar that has the shoe type should always fall on the right hand side. if possible.
4. the image above has womens athletic with sandals, this should not be the case..
5. i think on the pages that are not the main title page we should still incorporate a small lifestyle image for interest, so one image per open.. page 1&2 one image page 3&4 one image ect. ..
6. As for the lifestyle pics i see you are using istock, we have an account with them so when you are ready let us know the pic reference and we will purchase them,
7. on the bottom of each page just above the bar we need to add in red " Before ordering shoes please call to confirm availability"

Hi, Great, looks like we are progressing for sure. The thing we need to do is to shrink the overall size of the images etc. to allow for 9-10 on a full page and 7-8 on a page with a smaller image. We are looking for the total pages to be 26 max. Lets see how we can do this. thanks.

3. please send a template of a page with 10
4. We will not need a seperate mens and womens general image page, it looks like you have included one at the beginning of each. It can just start with womens sandals. This will give some more room.

well actually I see that the first and last pages are the cover, if this is the case the cover pages will not include product. We will keep the design of the cover fairly clean and simple. So we will have to adjust the total number of pages to accommodate what we have nicely.

Hi, Sorry for the delay! We have uploaded I think everything you need. All the missing images, as requested as well as there are new images for both Saucony and Asics that will need to replace the existing ones for these two brands. The images of the orthotic devices are also there. Lets get these things in place and we should be very close to finish. Thanks.

Hi, The one main concern is that the first page should start on the inside of the cover and the last page should end on the inside of the back cover. For the front cover we will want a lifestyle picture along with our logo/company info. On the back cover we would like to see all the logos for the brands as seen in the catalogue.

3. Page 6 sports is spelled “soprts” and add the dash in the name for (Flexi-Sport)
4. See dropbox web site for womens runner update need to squeeze as many as possible there are 7 new ones, will need to lose one or both of the lifelstyle pics
5. Change orthotic type on all sport devices mens and womens to Flexi-Sport
6. Change title to “ Dress Orthotics”

hi,
I already updated the pages,
and would start to upload the illustrator files to the dropbox.
The stock images samples could be swapped, once you have purchased the original images.
all the illustrator files size would be 930Mb, so it would maybe take 2 or 3 days before all uploaded to the dropbox server.
If you already satisfied with the files could I claim the payment?

New changes,

1. Cover-- make show logos slightly larger and remove white rectangle\
2. Cover should be called “Sandal Catalogue”
3. Make the title smaller and move to the bottom, take logo out of rectangle and move to yop of page perhaps over a cloud so that it can bee seen… also make it larger
4. Move the contact info to the back cover bottom again with no back rectangle
5. Page 5 make black sandalista larger to fill empty space
6. Page 6 the dropshadow of the flexi sport has been cut off
7. Page 16 bith drop shadows cut off on orthotic devices
8. Page 20 drop shadow cut off of flexisport
9. Page 27 swap Helsinki with coble hill to line up shoe orientation
10. Page 30 devices drop shadow has been cut off
11. Page 21 gel 1170 should be titanium/ black/lime add to drop box all missing

for the cover page (stock #20041450) you need to buy the largest quality (XXXlarge)
and for the main lifestyle/category the XLarge would be ok.

yeah, it is still queue-ing to be uploaded as there are bigger files like 270MBs in sizes, hope tonight it would all uploaded. :)

Sorry, I was away a couple days and just getting up to speed on this. There are 12 new photos in the dropbox, folder name istock photos, to be replacing the current ones as they are more reasonably priced. I think we are just down to the small strokes, thank you for your work on this.
