- Children's dentistry and Orthodontic treatment (braces)

- A place where parents can bring their kids to get dental and orthodontic care, in a fun movie theatre themed office.

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
-Kids from the age of 1-16, with dental needs or braces to straighten teeth. All kids like a fun environment, therefore a 'cinema' theme, complete with a large movie screen, popcorn and outdoor playground.

Who would you like to add to your audience?
-Since parents will be bringing their kids.. We want it adult friendly as well. But what adult doesn't like the movies? :) we will also be providing aesthetic treatments.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
-Something that would resemble a movie theatre or cinema. I am thinking either a movie reel or a now showing sign.. Or double spot lights.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
-Red, white, black, beige- this is the colors of the office and In general the colors of a movie theatre or cinema

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
CINEMA SMILES - here is a little brainstorming
- movie reel
- double spot light behind the logo
- light bulbs around the logo
- something to do with teeth or a smile

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
- a fabulous smile
- a cinema or movies

- not just a Place to get your dental needs but a place to have fun and enjoy in a movie theatre setting.

- website, building sign and monument sign

- there are competitors in the area but the logos are boring with no theme.. One place has a Hollywood theme... But it is too busy and tacky looking ...


What sets you apart from your competitors?
- fun theme, outdoor play area, standalone building, plenty of parking, convenient location, friendly team

Hi Glyphica,

Thanks for your submission.. Attached is a image that I liked. Instead of having the name of the business in a image, I would like it more free standing (if that makes sense). So kinda like the one I attached. I envision the Cinema Smiles to be in white and higher and the "Kids Dental and Orthodontics" to be lower in red. If you can help with your creativity and add to it, that would be great. Maybe the yellow lights just at the sides of the "kids dental and orthodontics". or the two light beams from behind..? Or even using yellow lines on top and bottom like the image..?
Our theme is a movie theater, so would like to keep it as close as possible.. I'll look for some more inspiration too..

The reason why I like the free standing letters, is because I am thinking about the signage and would like each individual letter to light up= as opposed to a one piece sign. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick response! I drew out a revision and attached it... Here is a quick description of the revision.

1. The yellow lights all around, instead of just the top and bottom of the "kids dental and orthodontics".

2. The color changes. (Black, yellow, red)

3. Can we play with the font a little? I would like the "Cinema Smiles" to look as close as possible as the second attachment I did the other day. (the cursive upper case "e" 's ). And the "kids dental and orthodontics" to be more block.

4. We also would like to add a movie reel in between the "Cinema" and "Smiles".. (in gray)

Thamks for your submission.. I am looking for something more like I drew in an earlier thread.. White letters with black outline for 'cinema smiles'. Yellow lights around the 'kids dental an orthodontics', which is written in red .. In the middle of cinema and smile.. Would be a movie reel...

Thank you! That looks great! A couple of things that I would like to tweak.. Do you have a movie reel that is more 3-d or one with the film coming out? Also, can we change the font of the kids dental and orthodontics?

Hi Glyphica,
Thanks for your revision. Just a couple more things and it looks like we will be done.

1. We like the 3-D movie reel. However, can we take out the 3-D effect that was put on the 'Cinema Smiles' part.

2. We changed the font for the "kids dental and orthodontics", if you could please copy the same font. (leelawadee)

As a separate image, can you try to add 2 or 4 searchlights in the background... it may add some pop to the logo, but not sure if it will make it look more cluttered.

Hi there :) Yes, I can add the search lights, but in my opinion that would make it very busy. I think adding them to maybe your website background or something like that would be a better option.

You are right.. We will just add it to our website.. We like the way it looks now.. ;) can you also send one that says "cinema faces" with the reel? No need for the bottom text.

We are also thinking of adding business cards/stationary.. How do we go about that?
