Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
The text eWaCent (case sensitive) for electronic Water Cent. Customers need to enter the amount of water they use per year and get billed accordingly. So the logo should also contain something related to water. Please avoid any symbols related to money.
What type of product or service do you offer?
The logo will be used for a web application. Our customer sells water to large companies (e.g. for cooling plants).
How long have you been in business?
4 yrs
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
The final deadline is 08/08/2012

The audience consists of users that enter data (once per year) into several forms of our webapp.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
The logo could be somehow related to a logo we use for another app (same customer, same colours and font as requested here)

We would like to use the colors of our company logo, which are
- PMS 187c
- PMS 9c

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
The logo will be placed somewhere close to our customers logo. It would be nice if both logos somehow went well with each other.

What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
What is your tagline or slogan?
We would like to have a logo that uses minimum height in order to have more space for the application inside the browser window. The text eWaCent will go without any slogan or headline.
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We sell pure water of high quality :-)
Where will your new logo be used?
The logo will be placed in the topmost section of a web application. Some few user will use the software 8h each day. Some other users (hundreds) use the software once per year to enter values.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
On http://www.wasser.rlp.de/servlet/is/391/ there is a logo "H2O Wasserwirtschaftsverwaltung Rheinland-Pfalz". This logo is used in other applications used by ourcustomer. We would like to have something more fancy.
