Award of $250. We are preparing for our annual company retreat and we have received great designs here in the past. Our theme for this year is:
"Strong People - Strong Company"
The first day of the retreat will focus on individual needs for fitness, financial and family
The Second day will focus on continuing to build the strength of our company with the strength of our people.
We will put our logo and name of the location on the front pocket. We need your help with a cool and fun design for the back. This might include an image of a person/creature or whatever else you have in mind for building strength. I am attaching two images. One is our company logo and another is our "Fly Wheel" which carries meaning for our vision. You don't have to include these but it would be nice to have the fly wheel if possible.
The deadline is Wednesday August 8 by 5pm.
Thank you for your help!

Hi there :)
I would like to present this as my idea for your Tshirt.
When I read the brief, the first thing that popped into my head when I read "Strong People. Stong Company" was how a company's strength is it's people. Then it stands to reason, that the people support the company. Then, with all the Olypic games on TV... I could only think of the titan, Altas.
So, my design incorcorates Atlas, representing the "people" holding up your flywheel, with the slogan balanced on either side of Atlas.
I have presented the design on a dark grey shirt, but of course, you could choose whichever shirt colour you prefer. Also, this design in neutral in colour-perception (It's not supposed to look cold, like "Snowpocalypse") I have used the actual colours from your logo in the design.
I look forward to your feedback.
Respectfully,
Kimber

Very interesting idea and I love the use of a character like Atlas. The reason we wanted to have a character if possible was the Snowpocalypse design, we loved that one. We have redone much of our collateral and website with a new color scheme. I will upload the PMS colors in the morning but you can see the look and feel at www.highgrove.net. We would like to work with these colors if possible. Thanks....

I've had a look at the new website (nice).
If you're talking about the green/brown scheme, I can change the design to incorporate those colours. I'll wait for the Pantones, if you don't mind, it'll help not to have to guess.
I'm glad you like Snowpocalypse - it was a helluva lot of fun designing that one :)

Okay, same ol' Atlas - new colour scheme.
I've changed the shirt colour to black, because I think the new colours will pop on it.

I always try to be very cost-conscious when designing - especially Tshirts. I've adapted your logo-pocket design to use the new colour scheme.
I don't think you mentioned the event location.

Another idea that's been kicking around in my head. A heraldic version - rampant lions and your flywheel, with the "Strong people. Stong company" slogan in the bottom ribbons.
I look forward to your feedback.

A little different colouring of the "Heraldic" design...

I thought I'd add a bit of "greenery" - the laurel wreath (darn Olympics again).
I've kept it brown, any other colour makes it look like "too much".
Let me know what you think.

The second colour scheme, with laurels.

Thank you so much for all this work. We are leaning more toward the Atlas model. While I like the darker shirts, consensus is to have a white shirt this year. Can you pick up more of the green, brown and orange colors?
Thanks...

For sure I can, but it'll have to be tonight after work.
I'll post around 8pm or so...

Sorry I was running a bit behind...
Here is the revised coloring, to add more green, on a white shirt...

I'm not sure the brand of shirts your screenprinter uses, but SanMar makes a shirt called "Sand" that is a light colour, and might work for your PMS 454...
Here's the design on that colour.
Please let me know what you think.

I like the direction. Can we get Atlas in Brown, remove the leaves and give me a a couple of different flywheel color combos?
Thanks...

Absolutely. I'll have to do that tonight, after the "day" job. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Alright... here we go with options.
Basically, Atlas remains the same (brown) in all the designs, it's just the flywheel, text and outlines that change.

v13 - since there are only 3 colours, I thought I'd utilize the colour of the shirt (white).

Having had a change to look at them all again, I think my favourite is v.10

Here's v.10 with Brown text inside the flywheel, rather than white (tshirt colour).

Good morning :)
In an effort to keep this moving along for you, I'll take my files to work today, and if you make a decision as to which combination you like, I'll try to prepare them and get them over to you during the day. If I don't get a chance to do it at work, I'll have to do it when I get home.

I am so sorry... I've been checking the thread, and I haven't seen your reply until just now. I didn't get any email notification either.
Give me a few minutes, and I'll upload the artwork and send you download information.
I've also changed your email address to try to protect you from spam.

Hi there, I have just sent a PM with a link to download your files. For good measure, I have also emailed them to the address you supplied.
It also just occured to me that you have never disclosed the retreat location, for the pocket artwork. Could you please let me know, and I'll forward that file as well.
Thankyou,
Kimber
