What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Rebrand – adding children’s photography to my existing pet photography business. Will be focusing on kids ages 2 to 12 primarily.
What are your long term goals?
To become a recognized brand, easily identifiable among hundreds of competitors in the industry. Not to change my current brand recognition but incorporate children in to it seamlessly.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
August 20, 2012. I’m attending a huge event in mid-September and would like to have the rebranding and new marketing materials ready for this launch.

Please describe your existing audience
Pet owners, primarily people without children that treat their pets like their children.
Who would you like to add to your audience?
Any family with children.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
I want to keep the essential elements of my current logo. I like the 4 colors and font. I want to drop the current tagline of “where the focus in on your pets” and replace it with “Vivid Intimate Playful”. The current logo is attached.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Yes, continue to use the existing colors:
Blue=PMS 2925
Brown=PMS 498
Orange=PMS Orange 021
Green=PMS 361
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
I want to take the current puppy face and dog tag logo and in some way incorporate a child’s image or child design with it. I want it to no longer be pet centric, but in someway blend kids and pets. I want the icon to still be recognized as Chickpea but with a slight change that is boarder to a larger audience.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Intimate family portraiture that is also fun and playful
What is your tagline or slogan?
Vivid Intimate Playful
Where will your new logo be used?
Website, Blog, Avatars on Social Network mediums, Copyright Watermark and Business Cards and other marketing.
