I'm stuck and need some brainstorming help.
I asked Palmer beforehand too for permission to post this and he said he was cool.
I'm going to have a tshirt printed for my youth group at my church. The printer I'm pretty sure I'm going to use will do some free design work for me (either it's free or you pay for it in the printing price whether you use them or not. Depends on how you look at it.) So I probaby want to take advantage of it. But I need ideas.
There's a saying that is seeming to gain popularity among teens. "So and so rocks my face off." Among my teens they came up with the idea of having a shirt that says "Jesus Rocks My Face Off". But I'm not exactly sure how to but that into graphical form.
I've got a verse Habakkuk 1:5"Look at the nations and watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told." that I think I'm going to use as well. But it could change.
One idea was to have Jesus standing around with some other people. They're all a little cartoony (like the Simpsons?), but the regular people's faces are falling off. But I'm not sure how that would work moreso.
Another is a little more "serious". It's a picture of a guy (or girl) on his knees. You commonly see people on their knees reaching up towards the sky in prayer or worship. But this guy would have his head bowed, and his face placed in his hands (maybe as if he's broken).
Those are two ideas, but I'm not sure how they'd work. I'm wide open for more ideas as well. Just asking for brainstorm help. And if there are some who are absolutely convinced that they could put a great piece of work together then I might consider putting up a contest for a great design. But I'd have to go with a different screen printer for my shirts.
