Logo for a church building *Project Over*

Hey everybody... Community of Hope is back for another great logo...

Our new office building is up on our property... it's called the LEAD Center. We need a logo to go on a sign that we're having put on the building... Here's what we're looking for... We want the words "Community of Hope L.E.A.D. Center" very large and underneath the main logo we want the words "Lead, Encourage, Assimilate, Disciple".

The logo should follow our Green and Yellow color scheme and should match up close to what our logo looks like now for our church (picture attached.)

The sign will face the road so we want it to generate interest to passers by... check out our website to see what we're all about...

Is there any way you could post a photo of the new buiding? It might make a nice graphic for the logo... and if not, it would at least be nice to see where the new sign will go.

Hi! My concept for the 'Community of Hope L.E.A.D. Center' logo is attached. Since I do not know which exact font is used in the first logo of 'Community of Hope', I have used 'American Classic' font which comes closest to the same.

Can you perhaps post your current logo as an EPS? It'd be nice to be able to pull elements from it.

In the meantime neither one of those two logos strike me as interesting...

This is a church of youth families and also I really don't want the logo to look exactly like the church logo.... check out our website to see what we're all about and let's try some more logos...

First suggestions; some notes:

- Since you mentioned you want to use the logo as a street sign as well I thought it might be a good idea to make the sign shape a part of the logo itself.

- 1B is the same as 1A, just a slightly different shape suggestion, all other suggestions use the 1A shape but can be combined with 1B shape as well of course.

- My personal fav is 3A...not that that's of any importance :D

I like 3a as well, but we don't want that image of Jesus on the sun... as soon as I post the eps of our logo... maybe you can replace that image with our "sun" that's in the logo...

just to clarify - should I include that image of Jesus in my revisions or just the sun?

Wasn't clear to me if you just didn't like the sun behind or the Jesus image at all.

LIZ, if you could take the word L.E.A.D. Center and make it more like it's own logo underneath the sun and city logo and Community of Hope name, that would be great, We want to basically have a logo for the building that would basically have OUR logo above the LEAD Center logo...

Maybe more of a block letter style, logo... something that says leadership...

No, there would not be a refund in this case. You have had more than 3 entries. I sent you an email telling you that you were confusing them with your instructions but you never clarified anything in your thread. It was sent to your AOL address.

You will need to do that, ask for specific revisions or choose a winner and work it out in the revisions forum.

I think the designers did the best they could.

The reason I haven't come back to this is because I just don't understand the concept (I know you responded when I asked before, but I still don't really get it). I guess it's the incorporating the existing logo part that's got me confused.

For example, Frank made a logo and you asked him to replace it with your existing logo. But when I asked if all you really wanted was new text added under your existing logo (which is what Franks would have ended up as), you said no--sort of contradcitory information. So I'm (and I would imagine the other designers) kind of at a loss as to what to do.

If you can try to clarify the project (and you've got more time), I'm certain one of us can give you what you want. Without better direction, though, we're just of shooting in the dark.

Sorry, I thought that telling other designers to do the same thing was wrong... I guess here is the bare bones basic of what I want... Don't mean to be confusing, after having done so many contests on here I guess I got a little laxed.

For the beginning... this is a logo for our building... use OUR ORIGINAL Logo ... with the sun and name and everything...

UNDERNEATH THE ORIGINAL LOGO please create a SIMPLE texted base logo that says:
L.E.A.D. Center
Lead, Encourage, Assimilate, Disciple

This is for the sun outside our building... so it should have our original logo as well that's why we want it there...

Again I apologize... I've been very frustrated at the lack or entries & activity in some of the newer designs. But that's nobody's fault... this will probably be the last logo for a long time, after I get a website done with my other logo. I may be asking for too many logos and taking up space on the board... Thanks guys for all of your hard work...
