Coming back for more, because I always get good results here.

I'm in charge of getting tshirts done for our Disciple Now Weekend again this year. It is a community wide youth bible study where many different churches from the area get together for corporate worship and teaching along with some small group times as well.

Anyway, our theme for this year is "Share Jesus Without Fear" and I am trying to get some ideas of how that would be effectively communicated on a shirt. But here are a few ideas I've gotten based on some other products I've seen. Oh, and on all of the designs I'd want to have "DNow 2K4" as a byline somewhere on it.

Something similar to this with a guy holding a cross pretty confidently and the text "Sharing Jesus Without Fear" underneath.

Ditto w/ this... A cool, bold cross with either a stylelized circle or something of that sort surrounding our radiating from it with "Sharing Jesus Without Fear" underneath it.

<img src='http://www.churchartworks.com/garment-programs/components/thumbs/14787.gif' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
You get the picture here.

Another idea is a big cross, maybe gothic looking or something, not just your two stick put together. And fairly thick too. Put some flames in the "inside" of the cross (think filler) and then in a cool font have "Sharing Jesus Without Fear"

Designs should be a 2 or 3 color design. Probably going to be printed on a dark shirt...maybe a navy or dark green. But it's up in the air right now. Might decide on the design and colors there. But I have no initial color prefs. The design will go on the back of the shirt, so I'll ask the winner to also do a simple lettering of "Disciple Now 2004" w/ our town's name for the front based on the font and all they use in the design.

I'd like to have the contest over with by mid to late next week.

Thanks...open to any questions now.

Hi! My concept for this t-shirt design:

There will be many guys wearing this shirt, so probably don't need any ribbons/bows on it. Looks kinda girly, if you know what I mean.

The image itself is okay, but it seems to me that something a little more could be done to it. But I can't quite put my finger on what it would be. But it looks a little to "simple" or "plain". Thanks so far.

Does anyone else have any plans of entering.

Sunil, he's looking for a 2 or 3 color design and it is for teenagers. (I believe)

I have a couple ideas I may be able to get up tonight.

Sunil...I like that one better. But it's still not clicking for me yet. They're not seeming bold enough or w/ enough "oomph", if you know what I mean.

Looking forward to seeing what you got Lady, and LMNOP.

phew, 11:55pm my time, so I guess I was accurate saying I could have this up tonight.

Anyways, here's what I got. I have a couple other ideas for it as well, but was unable to get to them tonight.

Lady-

I really like that one. It's pretty cool, and clean looking. The only thing I'd think to change is maybe change a color somewhere...it looks pretty subdued. Not that it should be wild and crazy with the colors. But maybe with an accent somewhere with a bit of a lighter (but not way brighter) color. And how many colors are you using? I need to stay at about 3 if I can, no more than 4 (if it HAS to have 4).

LMNOP-
How would yours look if it was more of a straight on view of the cross, rather than looking from a top perspective. Maybe in the middle of where we are right now and full on front. I like the image. But it looks more of something that I'd see on a heavy metal band's cd or shirt. Nice design, but maybe a little too "heavy" for what I'm after. Did that make any sense? The font is a little too "heavy" too. I know I said maybe a 'goth' cross, but try relaxing it a touch. I think the image still has potential

Thanks so much for the entries so far. Hopefully we'll find one by the week's end.

Ya it was a bit heavy :lol2: Figured its alot easier to take a "heavy" design and soften it up then visa versa. Heres a softer version, I still have one other idea for this, but I was unable to get it looking the way I wanted, so I figured I'd post this for the time being.

2 Color on Green

k, there are 4 colors: black, white, the grey-blue, & dark blue.
1st version: fonts are flat. 2nd version, fonts having outlines to brighten it up a bit too.

LMNOP-
What would that look like with a third color added in there for a touch of contrast? And can we change the bottom font? Looks too "A Team-ish". I kinda like the coloring of the first one a little better, but the green/yellow looks okay.

Lady-
I like both of your versions. But the font outline on the 2nd one was a little too thick. On the "Share Jesus" at least.

Hi! I have another design here in which I have tried to add more 'oomph'. It is 3-color. Here, I have shown it against black background.
