I am a youth minister looking for a cool, cutting edge, modern logo for our youth group. (OK so it doesnt have to be modern, just something the youth would like but wont be out of style next month!) I have no color preference although Black and Gold are top on my list, my youth would prefer a royal blue. (Go figure, a Mizzou Tiger fan in KY Wildcat country!) My heart will be to use this logo as a way to give the current youth a way to identify with the goup and as a way for other youth to know that it represents Thornhill Baptist Church Youth Ministry. This is a way to get our Church Youth name out in the community to reach unchurched students. Please help with this, one of our church members used this site for a new logo for their business and our church is currently seeking a design from this site. I cant wait to see the designs and how God will use it to reach unchurched students for Christ.

Church - Thornhill Baptist
Youth - C.R.U.S.H. Student Ministries: Stands for Care, Reach, Understand, Service and Honor
Verse - Romans 8 "Nothing can seperate us from the love of God..."

Thanks and God Bless,

Ned Nugent
Youth Pastor

Ned,

Here's something I was playing around with. Made a compromise with the colors :) Reflex blue and Gold.

Let me know what ya think.

Thanks,

B) I like what is going on so far with these logos. I need to make sure that these can be used on T-Shirts, posters, Business cards etc... In the first design I liked how C.R.U.S.H. was spelled out but felt the overall design was too "young" for the age we try to reach here (6th thru 12th grade). The second design was great, could we somehow incorporate the meaning of the acronym? After seeing these I would say that bright, bold colors work best (although the blue on the second design was great also)!

Thanks and keep up the good work can't wait to see more.

So there is no confusion, that is my post above. I was working with someone under their screen name and forgot to log out and log back in.

Revised my design to incorporate the acronym, as well as cleaned it up a bit to make it more legible.

;)

Matt, I like the concept that you have going on here, don't really know if anything needs to be added or taken away, perhaps get the church name in there somehow. Joshua I like the hand, after viewing it with the acronym spelled out in the design, I like it better without. These two designs are great, tough decision so far. Feel free to tweak the designs, so far you both are doing great work.

Thanks,
Ned

Joshua,

I really like the last hand, black with gold lettering and blue hand. This looks great and I will get back at the first of the week.

Designers,

Any last ideas before next week? Please feel free to submit.

Thanks,
