Good afternoon -
My name is Stevan Sheets, I am the student ministries pastor at Warsaw Wesleyan Church and I do some graphics design as a hobby but have come up against a HUGE brick wall in the creation of a new identity for our church.

I am the webmaster of our church's website and have had fun coming up with the current site, but am constantly working (in between "other" duties) on a new logo representing our church.

I know you guys won't be gung-ho about a not-for-money contest, but in case there's ANYONE interested in helping, I thought I'd throw this up.

I can't say that we would definitely go with ANY design, but I am just mainly looking for some creative ideas for a church logo that we could have as our own.

My senior pastor has talked about a heart and a cross representing our church's identity and this slogan: "A church with a heart for God with a hand to man."

Feedback:
The shapes remind me of an apple.
While that's not a terrible thing, I am trying to portray a professional/contemporary look of our church.

I know phrases like that are hard to read and understand, but that's all I've got.

Regarding the application, yes I received it. The status is "on hold" at the moment. The team is a little full.

Wow, thanks for the idea/picture.
I appreciate you so much taking the time to do that logo.
It's a great idea-starter - gave me some new ideas to work with...
It's still a bit too "blocky" and "stately" for what we're looking for. I like the use of the cross and the heart, but need to find a way of coming across as contemporary.
I really like the Warsaw Wesleyan font!

I made the logo smaller and reduced the line thickness,this might take away some of the bulkiness that you see. The font is very nice with this logo.
