I am looking for a logo for our middle school outreach program called "Wired". The purpose of our program is to teach our students that God has designed them for a great purpose. I would like to have a logo for signs and for t-shirts, etc. Please design different logos and use color at your own discretion. Thanks for all of your hard work that you'll be doing! I know this stuff is generally expensive, so I appreciate your generosity! This contest should end March 6th at noon.

hi there, I used a vector program so size and color can change easily, let me know you what think.

Huhhso:

I like the first logo with the cross over the I best of the two, but what if we had kind of a live wire look for the word? Maybe see what you can do with that. Thanks for your work so far!

Hey thanks, I'm exactly sure when you say wire..I'm thinking electricity etc.. and not literal?
Anyway here are some revisions.

Huhhso: I like the design that looks like a heart monitor reading. I would like to see it with a different font and maybe with some different colors. I would like to see it in a navy maybe, but do what you think looks good.

ubergerlgeek: I like your design. I see it more of something that I would put on a t-shirt geared towards girls. Is there anything you can come up with that would be more unisex for a general logo?

I realize you said the deadline was 3/6, I hope it's not too late for my effort...

Palmer: that design is awesome! I'm trying to get used to the light switch idea, but I like the "WIRED" word design for sure!

It's not a light switch, it's supposed to be one of those power switches you see every once in awhile. I wish I had a picture of one. If you've ever seen the movie Iron Giant (it's a kids cartoon) there's a power switch in that. Anyway, glad you liked it :D

Now I undersand what you're going for. Is this design in a format that I can easily print out for posters and for use on powerpoint?

I use Paint Shop Pro which allows me to save it in any format you want. Currently it's a .jpg for use on the web but I can look in to changing the dpi so you can use it for posters. I'm not sure what format PowerPoint uses but if you let me know I can check if I can save in that format as well.

Well I found a tutorial on changing the resolution for print. It said it would make the image larger but it didn't. So I'm not sure if I did it right.

What I can do is save it as a .psd (photoshop) file and maybe someone at your church can fiddle with it and do whatever needs to be done for PowerPoint and posters.

If you want me to email the .psp,.psd, and .jpg files to you, just send me your email address to palmer at designoutpost.com (obviously use the @ symbol, I'm trying to avoid spam bots picking up my address.)

Thanks,
Palmer
