I think you have to register in order to post anything on the board. In order to participate in the design contests as a designer, you need to fill out the application and the board owner (Palmer) will review it and invite those whose skills match any needs of the forum.

It's more like applying for a job as there are a limited number of designer slots open. It's not your typical free-for-all forum where anyone can post anything.
