I need a logo design for my lawn care company for $40. My company offers lawn renovation, installation, & maintenance to residential, commercial, and school turf.

The logo will go on a pewter (light tan) truck, uniforms, paper stock, signage, and other advertising media. The backround color will vary for all but the truck.

The design will say Turf Solutions, and in small letters, "a division of Natural Landscaping LLC." One thought was that the words "a division of Natural Landscaping LLC" could be in white in a strip of grass under the logo. Just a thought, I am not set on that.

I would like the logo to be mainly green, any other colors to compliment the green would be considered. I would like the logo to be easy on the eyes and suggest a technical professionalism for Turf Solutions.

I must admit, I am really looking forward to seeing what the designers on this sight come up with. Sincere thanks for all replies.

For everyone else:

Here's another thought. How about having the artwork next to the word Turf in larger letters and have solutions in smaller letters underneath, with a division of Natural Landscaping LLC. in smaller, less noticable letters under all.

Just a thought. Not dead set on that.

Remember - Hi Tech, Professional, easy on the eyes.

Thanks for all the replies, keep up the good work.

Keep in mind that it will be going on a light tan/gold truck as a backround. The darker colors will probably show better.

It has been pretty hectic here so I haven't had too much time to give any imput on your ideas. So far I like Hubbso march 8th post (2nd design) and I really like ubergergeek march 8th design.

Ubergergeek - I saw your March 12th post for Harvey Lawn Care and I really like the grass graphic with the swoosh on the right side of the name.

I also like TURF in green and SOLUTIONS in black and in very small black writing a division of Natural Landscaping LLC.

Give me some more to look at along those lines and I think we are close to a finished logo. Thanks again. Looking forward to more imputs. :rolleyes:

Have Turf larger

Move the grass graphic to the right of Turf

Keep Solutions under Turf as is

Keep a division of Natural Landscaping under solutions but have it the same width as Solutions.

Lastly, try some different fonts to see what works best.

I think the setup is great.
Try some different fonts. Possibly try solutions in a fine font a bit smaller than turf.
Any other creative imputs you can add would be great.

Here's one color of green. You can choose a different green of course but by keeping it to one color you'll save on printing costs.

I would like [the logo] to suggest a technical professionalism for Turf Solutions.

Well when I think of a nicely cared for lawn, I think of the precise corners and edges, etc, which is why I chose the font I did and why I used angular shapes. I am actually not set on the bottom font but if you choose this logo I can work with you on that. (Indeed if I feel inspired I may alter it).

Give me some feedback when you have a moment.

I sent an email on 6/18 asking the contest holder to choose a winner. I have not heard back yet. She could be on vacation. I would recommend holding off on entries until we hear back from her.
